If your daycare/school is having one?
I signed up for grapes for the young toddler room that DD2 is in. And cheese for the preschool room; will be doing heart cut out with crackers. Wish I could've found heart shaped crackers! 
DD1's party is on Monday and DD2's is tomorrow (Friday).

LO’s preschool class is having an actual, legit party which I can’t believe since the school is very strict about foods/sweets/juice and many of the parents are….let’s just say, they think sugar is the devil and are very vocal about it!!
There was a sign-up sheet and they asked parents to stick to the sheet. We are bringing in juice boxes. The littles will get to make ice cream sundaes!

@yoursilverlining: LOL But that's awesome! Our daycare has gotten really good about asking parents to not bring in sugary sweets. The sign up sheet is usually consisted of "healthy" items. In the preschool room they're celebrating "eating healthy" week and in the newsletter they specifically asked parents not to bring in sweets for the party. When parents bring in cupcakes for birthdays they always put it in the kids cubbies and let parents decided. Which I really appreciate.

@regberadaisy: That is wonderful! Our daycare did a Fruit/veggie week and asked parents to bring in different fruits and veggies for the kids to try.
I brought a box of super hero cheese it crackers. Nothing special but I couldn't find any heart crackers.

@regberadaisy: I was so excited to see ice cream and toppings on the sign-up sheet! When they said they were going to let the kids have a party, I figured it would be milk/water and veggies/cheese only!

I'm bringing rice krispie treats. I always try to choose a sweet treat so that my LO isn't left out due to his allergies. Before I used to bring practical items like fruit or napkins. I've learned to just go for the sweets since they will always be around, and I want my LO to be included.

I signed up for bananas. The party is planned for tomorrow but with wintry mix in the forecast for Friday and Monday I am not sure when it will actually happen. If it's delayed - I can make banana bread over the weekend.
