I'm at a loss as to what to buy my husband for Christmas. Last year I got him Air Pods and the year before that, an apple watch, but apple hasn't released anything new lately! So I'm hoping you will all share what you're doing, and I can steal your ideas.

DH is getting a PS5 whenever possible, so I ordered an extra controller and a game to be wrapped under the tree. Also got him a portable phone charger and new pajamas.
His stocking has a dragon zipper pull, floss, hot sauce, magnetic bottle opener, nose hair trimmer, and chocolate covered espresso beans.

I’m at a loss this year too. DH doesn’t like big tech gifts and likes to pick his own clothes, usually. So unless he gives me an idea, I mostly have done fun food and drink gifts or sentimental gifts relating to the kids. Last year I did a twelve days of Christmas where each box had a treat he liked (big and small) or a small bottle of wine or beer (all obtained at World Market or TJs). But that kind of gift giving requires more shopping than I am likely to do this year so I don’t know! I know you can do an Advent calendar for beer or wine at places like Aldi or I think Costco this year, but I’m not sure he’d use a random assortment and they’re fairly pricey (and I’d have to ask a friend to order from Costco).
I honestly feel like we just don’t need anything in the era of work at home and stay at home all the time! But maybe TJs treats and wine will have to do again

DH picked out a computer mouse for gaming that I got him. I also picked up some fun socks, a dice game, and I'll probably get some kind of sweets. We don't do very expensive gifts for each other though.

It just dawned on me that the Opal nugget ice maker doesn't have to be plumbed and it refills itself, so i'm considering that for my husband for him to keep in the basement. I was resistant because I didn't want anything else on my kitchen counters. He loves ice, i hate ice.

DH got a pair of nice sweatpants last Christmas and they’ve gotten a lot of use this year, so I was thinking of getting him a few more. I’m still hoping to come up with a better idea though

DH has had his eye on a Yeti cooler for camping, so that may show up under the tree this year. My other idea is a movie projector setup for our yard (the actual projector and a folding screen) - a friend has one and they've been getting together regularly all year to watch movies outdoors and he's talked about wanting one for himself.

Are there any "manly" of the month clubs that aren't alcohol related? DH doesn't drink but I think something like this could be fun. I was going to look into a jerky of the month. He already does birchbox so anything like that wouldn't work.

Do you have the Apple HomePod ? I got S one a few years ago and we love it. The sound quality is super good and it syncs well to all our other Apple products.

Thinking about getting him a movie projector and screen. We borrowed a friend's a few times this summer and loved it.

Thanks for the ideas, everybody! I found a good sale on a fancy espresso maker yesterday so ordered that to replace his Nespresso - save having to buy/recycle pods all the time.

@erinbaderin: What espresso maker did you get? DH has been using the Keurig that FIL bought to leave at our house and it's pretty cheap. I also hate having to use the pods. I asked if he wanted a better coffee maker and he said no but wondering if something fancy would be nice. Don't think we want something that would make a pot of coffee as I don't drink it.
Like the idea of a snacks from other countries box. Will look into that.

DH lost a lot of weight this year, so I bought him a new jacket and will probably get him some clothes. He’s hard to buy for. It’s usually whiskey, but I just got him some for his birthday.

An idea if somebody has a partner who likes photo gifts - I for a daily tear-off calendar from Social Print Studio for my parents. It showed up today and it’s really a nice quality product, I was impressed! Slightly smaller than I was expecting but I got the bamboo stand to go with it and my parents are going to love it.
