For those of us lucky enough to have our moms in our lives... I was wondering: what are you doing for your mom for Mother's Day?
My mom is 12 or 13 hours ahead, so I'm gonna give her a call in a few minutes!

We're lucky in that we have both families in the immediate area, so tomorrow will be a busy, but enjoyable day. We're making breakfast sandwiches, and country potatoes, and packing it for a picnic. Going to pick my folks up, and have brunch on the beach.
Later in the evening, we're going up to see DH's parents and siblings, and having a BBQ dinner.
We're making these vases tonight:

We got a silver charms (an owl for my mom, and a sparrow for DH's) and we're wrapping them around the vase with twine).
