Wow. Can you belIeve it's already July 4?!!?? I always feel like the rest of the year flies by after the 4th..
We just got back from our mini beach trip! I'm so tired, but chilling in thecar until Lo wakes up. She fell asleep 20 mins before we got home. I guess it's a good thing since our house is probably a sauna.
So tomorrow wE're probably gonna head over to a friend's for a BBQ then put Lo down and watch fireworks on tv.

The only friend of ours who lives extremely near to us is having a party! So convenient.
The town we work in is having their annual giant independence day celebration tonight (they always do it on the 3rd) but we aren't sticking around to see it, because we'll be trapped here until 11 PM due to the crowds/traffic.

WE will be going to Seward, NE (The Fourth of July city in the US) and walking around there for while and hit up a couple BBQs. We both grew up in teh area, so we do this every year. We will head home (about 30 minutes away) and watch fireworks from there since we both work the next day.

BBQ! No fireworks this year though, too many wildfires in Utah. I am on a liquid diet though, so that will be fun watching everyone eat their hamburgers... ugh!

We’re planning on sleeping in, seeing a movie in the late morning/early afternoon and then going to BBQ and watch fireworks at my MIL’s house.

We're having a couple of friends over in the afternoon to grill and maybe swim if it's warm. No fireworks for us though b/c I hate messing w/ baby's bedtime routine, and the fireworks near us aren't that great anyways.

I'm in NY so we'll go to my sister's. She'll make desserts and we'll go on the roof for fireworks. You can see the statue of liberty grom her place. Well... everyone else will. By that time ill probably head home with lo, I'm not a huge fireworks fan anyway.

We're driving in to Cambridge to go shopping. lol. So not 4th related considering they don't celebrate it. The base is doing fireworks but we're not getting involved in that mess. Plus, C goes to bed at 6 and the fireworks aren't until 10.

@skibobrown: is it questionable that it would be warm where you are? It's 97 degrees here and that's a big drop from the 111 we had this weekend!!

Spending part of the day laying out by the pool, and the other part I need to spend picking up the house in preparation for the maid service to come on Thursday morning....I used to think it was so redonkulous when people said they had to clean for the housekeepers to come, but yeah- that's what I need to do....DH is away at work so that's as wild as we're getting over here:)

DH is running the big 10K race here tomorrow. I am going to walk up the street with a friend, drink mimosa's, and watch/cheer people. It is great people watching. Then hitting the pool and a friend's for a BBQ.

No plans yet, but we moved this weekend and everything is still in boxes.
We'll probably unpack a little in the morning and then go watch the fireworks with some friends at night.
I was hoping to head to Orlando for a mini-vacay, since I have Thurs & Fri off too...but SO has a big software push this week and doesnt think he can get off

We're going to go watch the fireworks at an elementary school near our house. It starts kinda late (at 8:30) so we're planning on giving our son his bath before the fireworks show and then put him to bed when we get home. I hope he doesn't get overstimulated by the flashy lights though! We wont have very many opportunities left to hang out as a family of 3 so we want to spend as much quality time with our son before baby girl joins us!

I am planning on sleeping in, taking a nap in the afternoon and perhaps going to the community pool. Doubt we'll watch any fireworks unless the people up the street set them off again (they've been setting some off for the past 3 days). DH plans to finish staining our screened porch.

@MamaMoose: I'm in the SF Bay Area, so it's always pretty mild and doesn't often get really hot. I think it's going to be around 80 degrees tomorrow where we live though, so sounds like perfect pool weather to me!

We are going to a cookout, which will be a nice distraction for the day before our LO's arrival. There is supposed to be some rain. Hopefully it's not a washout.

I have no idea! We got to Hawaii on Friday and we're still trying to find our way around. I'm sure we'll get dinner somewhere. Depending on how DS is feeling (the big move has turned him into a whiny mess!), we might find some fireworks to watch.

LO is going to be in a parade tomorrow morning 
So we are decorating her wagon for that & then BBQing after! It is supposed to be 100+ degrees! I love the heat, but it'll be lots of water, shade & sunscreen for LO

Feeding, pumping, changing diapers, eating and napping. It's just another day for us. So weird not to be seeing our friends tomorrow. The 4th is always a big get-together holiday for us.

We'll probably just hang out around the house most of the day and then go watch the fireworks. There is a miniature golf place whose parking lot has a great view of the fireworks and they let you stay there if you play a round of mini golf before-hand, so that's what we usually do. We play mini golf, get some ice cream, and watch the fireworks.

@anonysquire: us too. I think they cancelled some of the shows anyway due to high fire danger. Frankly heat makes me grumpy and M already has a pretty bad heat rash!
