I really want to try and recognize both of the holidays that are in our family traditions (Hanukkah and Christmas). It was just her birthday, so there’s so many gift giving opportunities, especially considering you often give a present for each of the 8 nights of Hanukkah. I got LO a few fun books for her birthday and have an Amazon wish list going for the rest of the year. There was a great blog post on here last week with Montessori-friendly gift ideas so I got a lot of great ideas from that. What are you getting for LO this year?

Their "big" gifts are an easel for M and a Rover for D.

DD has requested a Singalong thing with a microphone. She wants the Frozen version (saw her cousin with it) but I'm thinking I will get her a generic one that plays mp3s/CDs so we can get more use out of it.
DS will get a micro mini scooter from the grandparents. I think we will get him some Mickey Mouse stuff (Duplos, books, etc) and a baby doll (he keeps stealing DD's baby).

A plush squirrel and fox I'm embroidering for her -
They'll be 3 months so they don't need much. We are buying some books for them.

Just one gift, with a few parts, hopefully! She is 2.
We were going to do a train table, but decided to get her a city rug and lots of hotwheels (her favorite) and some other trucks and a fire rescue set. She loves cars and trucks the most! Maybe a parking garage, and definitely an "Iron Diesel train" she is in love with!

I've requested that the grandparents don't go too crazy. DS is the first grandchild on both sides, and it's his first Christmas. ILs are getting him a snowsuit. My Mom says she is done shopping for him, but I don't know what. I think she went a little bit crazy, though.
We are flying to spend Christmas there, so hopefully we will have room in our suitcases! Lol. From us he is getting: need - convertible car seat, as my tall boy is almost grown out of the infant seat; want (haha, at this age, who knows) - Habe Wonder Walker; wear - boots, mittens, and maybe a pr of pjs; read - a few board books, including "That's not my owl!"

The Little Tikes grocery cart - we got enough points finally with Pampers Rewards and we are looking at an activity from Ikea - a place he can sit and color/paint/etc.

The big gift from Santa is a train table. We bought it used and the sellers included a bunch of tracks and trains and randomly a basket of hotwheels type cars and trucks. We also got a bunch of books and they each will get some new clothes and snow boots (unless they need them early). We are getting them each one toy from us and one from each other. Lo2 is getting a barn and animals and an alphabet magnet toy. Lo2 is still up in the air. I have a floor puzzle but I have like 3 other things I want him to get so we just have to choose 1 - either a road map type rug to play with the new hotwheels, a balance board, or a board game.

DD1 (age 3) freaks out every time she sees a commercial for "Elsa's Ice Castle" on TV so that and a 7 pack of Disney princess dolls are her big presents. DD2 (10 months) is getting a new water table for summer, some small toys and some practical gifts.

I really want to get him a scooter. We're debating if we should save it for his birthday (late Feb) instead. He has been begging for paw patrol vehicles.

A big boy bed and Legos from us. A few small toys in the stocking. I don't know what the grandparents are planning on.

We have got DS a play kitchen! So excited to give it to him!

My 3 year old has requested the Anna, Elsa, and Snow White Magic Clip dolls. We are also getting her a balance bike. My parents will probably get some toys and clothes, though we've asked them to tone it WAY down from last year. And no more frozen toys, hopefully!
DS is only 8 months and doesn't really need anything. Probalby some books and new clothes to last thru winter.

LO1 (2.5) will get a set of magnatiles from his baby brother and a felt playhouse that I made (a la: https://www.etsy.com/listing/64025781/fire-station-card-table-playhouse) from us. I've also bought a couple of Christmas books that I plan to let him open leading up to the holiday, and some clothes that we'll either wrap or put in his stocking.
I'm not sure what we're getting LO2. He'll only be 5-6 weeks old. For his stocking, I'd like to do a set of bandana bibs, a wubbanub, take n play music toy. Otherwise, maybe one present from his brother that he can grow into?

Just one gift, it's a 12 volt ride on car. Not sure how that is going to go, for both Christmas and birthday, from both sets of grandparents, Santa and us. My son seems to accept it, so let's hope he's not disappointed.

We are getting her a wooden play shop/market stall and some books. Other family are getting her a Peppa Pig playset, and a wooden train set...that I know of so far.

@Golden: What did you think about Osmo? My MIL brought it up as a Christmas idea, but I don't know anyone IRL who has used it. Did you think it was worth it?

@lemondrop: we didn't end up getting it for her. Her grandparents were going to but I can't remember why it didn't happen now. I can tell you we played with it at a demo and it was amazing!

The big gift is a train table for them to "share". B is getting a Thomas mini track and some Duplo, and W an activity cube and sound blocks.

@lemondrop: We have Osmo (was gifted to LO) and it's pretty cool. She started with the tanagrams - it shows you a picture on the iPad and you recreate it with the tiles/shapes. It lights up when you get a shape in the correct spot and then all lights up when you complete it.
She also has numbers for math which she really enjoys. I'd say the games you can play with numbers are her favorite. She also has the letters and the coding sets.
I have no idea how much it costs since it was gifted to us but she has consistently played with it and enjoys it so I'd say it's a good gift!

We don't get her a big gift most years. This year she is getting:
Stroller for a baby doll
A winter coat
Books, books, and more books
Gingerbread house kit
Some activity books (dress up sticker books)
ETA: for her stocking she'll get some nail polish and accessories (dress up bracelets and necklaces)

4 month old: high chair/ stuff for solids, a couple small baby toysGetting them both bath toys and books to share, and stocking stuffers

1 year old: rocking horse from Pottery BarnI need an idea an idea for a big gift from my parents that could be for both of them. Last year they got wooden blocks which have been a big hit.

4 year old: Great Wolf Lodge trip is her big gift. Other gifts are new books, new PJs/clothes, and I have no idea what Santa is bringing her yet.
1 1/2 year old: GWL is big gift. She's getting pots and pans, M&D cleaning kit, baby stroller/playpen.

@lemondrop: We have Osmo as well, we have all the extension sets.
My husband got it because he funded it when it was in crowdfunding mode. My son can take it or leave it. I think it's because we don't have it set up on a regular basis.

@looch - I'm also contemplating getting my 3 1/2 year old the complete Osmo set! Or you do recommend I just purchase the starter kit to begin with?
I also have children's museum membership and zoo membership on my girls (3 and 1.5 yrs) wish list.
