T literally needs nothing. I'm getting him some books and maybe some little people to share with his brother (which I'm sure he'll just steal). He would love real legos, but honestly I can't deal with the choking hazard with a 1 yo around. I found a cool Hape domino set...but that's all I've gotten him so far.

We do the 4 things (want, need, wear, read) and for the want we are doing Duplo Legos, a car-building set. He LOVES anything with wheels. I think my parents will get him some new play kitchen stuff to replace our old, beat-up toys. He may also get a "shaving" kit, because he loves to pretend to shave with Dad.

Lincoln Logs (his aunt and uncle also got him a set that he got to open yesterday and he LOVES them!), Magna-tiles, Match Box cars + carrying case, a fire truck, and some sticker books. I feel like it's a lot, but we're going to be rocking his world with a new sibling right before, so we want to make it extra special this year...

@winniebee: He's already obsessed. When we were driving home from daycare today he was telling me all about the log house he was going to make! He insisted on holding the set my BIL/SIL gave him on his lap all the way home yesterday...2 hours!

Melissa and Doug giant cardboard blocks for our 3yo cousin. Safe for a baby, but the kids I know with them enjoyed them well into grade school.

A new bike. We have a hand-me-down one from my niece, but it's really beat up. We're trying to get her the next size up so DD2 can use the small bike.
I also got her some rain boots, a Barbie + Jeep and a game. She's the easy one! I can't figure out what to get our almost 2 yr old

I know my in laws and parents will go nuts with getting him actual toys, so we've been buying tickets for stuff. Just got tickets for half off at our local zoo to use next summer and there was also a sale for a Daniel Tiger live show next Feb at a local theater. We'll do some books and clothes for physical items to give.

L is getting the Hape Discovery Space Center (http://www.amazon.com/Hape-E3003-Discovery-Space-Center/dp/B006WZOAWG). She is crazy about outer space, so I'm hoping she'll love it. She's getting a scooter for her birthday tomorrow, and I'm considering an outdoor playhouse for her and her little sister to share from Santa. Her only wish to Santa was a magnifying glass, so she's getting one of those too. Filler ideas are board games, movies and books.

We are getting her a handful of things she needs anyways (new snow boots, new jacket, some clothes). The main thing she asked for was an Anna dress, which clearly doesn't help you much 
otherwise her list for grandparents was fairly standard stuff like books and art supplies. If I were feeling crazy I'd get her a bounce house or a motorized car to drive around. I'll stick with the princess dress! Ha.

He's getting a big Batman playhouse thing from Imaginext (he asked Santa for this), a couple of Lego Juniors sets and a Playmobil police car since my SIL bought him the playmobil police station. Stocking stuffers so far are a headlamp, foam boomerangs and a new teddy.

I find I want to get my 3 year old everything and am having a hard time shopping for my 18 month old. I have gotten way too many clothes and books. We got an amazing deal on a train table with a bunch of trains and tracks which is going to be Santa's gift. We are giving a floor puzzle and a balance board. His brother is giving him a giant tow truck. My mom got him some magna-tiles and my dad got him this year's Hess truck. One other thing that I got is a shopping bag from Shutterfly with his picture on it. He loves filling up bags with his toys and I think he'll really love that it has his picture on it.

DS is getting this Paw Patrol truck. It only comes with one guy (what's his name?) and the ATV. I got him marshal and his fire truck to go with it. It's the one toy in the TRU catalog he kept saying he wanted (he's truck & Paw Patrol obsessed). Oh and I also picked up a Paw Patrol Board game for him. And I'll also get him a book.
Stocking stuffers are some Paw Patrol underwear, play doh, Brio train garage, mickey t shirt.
@skipra: I'm the same. There are a ton of things I want to get my 3 year old and not really anything for my 15 month old. She's just getting a doll and a book since she can play with all my son's toys.

She's getting a dollhouse, some playmobil horse sets, and a new scooter (and several little things that I haven't sorted yet) - she is so easy to buy for, it's seriously taking a lot of restraint to not go crazy!
Now my nearly two year old DD, on the other hand, is proving to be quite the challenge to buy for this year! Totally stumped at the moment with her...

DD has too much stuff. We're finally giving her the set of cog wheels that I got on sale from when she was a baby. We're celebrating at the in-laws and these are finally age appropriate without being a choking hazard for her baby cousin. We also have an Advent calendar going - she's getting books, and a bunch of other little toys I've accumulated whenever there's a sale. I also included a few Sylvanian Family accessories because I enjoy playing with her. I feel a little guilty about getting her those, but she's our only and she loves them

DS is getting a balance bike, a Kidkraft firehouse, a marble run and some board games. I went overboard this year but his bday is 3 days after Christmas so he doesn't get a lot of new stuff throughout the rest of the year. Plus I can spread the gifts over the 2 occasions!

I have no idea what I'm getting my 3 year old. The boys have way too many toys as it is. So far I got him books and DH got him some kind of pop up tunnel. His birthday was in September and he got most of the toys he wanted.
