My Mother's Day present was amazing (he and a photographer friend conspired to gift me a Mother/Daughter babywearing/breastfeeding photoshoot), and I want to get him something special for Father's Day. But I don't have a ton to spend, and I'm low on ideas.

He is always saying his coffee cups are too little and I found a paint your own pottery place that has huge coffee cups! I'll have the kids make him one.

He is taking the day off (he works weekends) for us to go to an event at the children's museum! (We tend to do events vs. things.) Is there something special he bas been wanting to do with you/ lo?

Not sure, but following because this is his first and I have no idea what to get him. Right now I'm leaning toward a new lawn mower but that's kinda $$$.

I'm going to DIY a frame for DH with LO. I'm using a picture I took last fall of him and LO. She's on his shoulders and we're taking a walk through the woods and they're off in the distance.
I want to send him to play 18 holes but in lieu I'm going to DIY a voucher that he HAS to use before the end of this season! He *loves* golf but hasn't played a round in 2 years. Will also get a Groupong/LS deal for the driving range. Hopefully that'll get him to take some time for himself.
Then the day of, of course, he's off duty. I know he'll want to throw steaks on the charcoal. We'll also be celebrating with FIL and BIL (his girls will be in town).
ETA: need ideas for FIL!

I'm sending him to play golf with a friend the weekend before since he will be away for work on Fathers Day. I'll also have LO make him something and will make his favorite dinner.

DH's birthday is this week so I'm going to do a combo. He really wants to golf more this summer and our local golf course offers a package deal so I'm getting him that.
LO is giving him a Mariners (his favorite baseball team) shirt that says Dad on the back. He's also giving DH Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle for them to read together because it's all about father fish that care for their babies

@Pancakes: @Greentea: Baking steels are so cool! Especially awesome since my DH is from Pittsburgh (as in the Steelers!). We have had several pizza stones crack in the oven due to the high temp needed for making Lahey's pizza. Hopefully this steel will last us a life time.

DH is from Michigan and he's obsessed with Blue Moon and Superman ice cream (which are these weird regional flavors that we can't get out here on the West Coast). So I ordered a huge haul of ice cream treats for Father's Day, including a few half gallons of Superman ice cream and Blue Moon ice cream sandwiches. The shipping costs as much as the ice cream, but since we have a chest freezer, I figured this would be a great gift for him to last all summer long.

Siiiigh. I've been so focused on trying to figure out what to get my husband for his birthday (6/6), that I totally forgot Fathers Day is a week later! And I still don't know what I'm getting him for his birthday!

I'm thinking about getting him a few hours of kayak rental time at our local lake. DH is also desperate for adult time and as a brand new dad (3.5 wks) is currently mourning the temporary hiatus of his adventurous side. Love all the sweet ideas here!

@locavore_mama: I saw it on Pinterest. You basically buy an assortment of beers and arrange them with fake flowers to look like a bouquet.
