My parents agreed we'll do one group gift for each other ... my husband and I asked for a camp stove, but of course, my mom keeps telling me she doesn't know what they want.
I need all of the ideas for a nice couple gift.

My parents asked for and are getting a blow-up hot tub. Last year they wanted/got an electric fireplace.
My MIL is getting a swedish massage - A couples massage would be a nice 'experience' idea.

@josina: That's a REALLY good idea. My step-dad LOVES spa days (he's a nurse, so he's on his feet all day).

We are getting my mom and stepdad an Amazon Echo. They really liked ours and I think they will enjoy it.
We got my in laws a gift certificate to a restaurant they always talk about trying. And a gift certificate to their local garden center.
They are also getting a photo magnet of DD.

We only have moms. I made my mom a shawl/wrap (she's always cold and wearing multiple blankets in the evenings) and a magnetic frame with seasonal magnets you can change out easily. They look like vintage post cards.
His mom, I made a scarf/shawl for, and DH will get something else (or we'll just give her cash)
Couple gift ideas I gave my mom - pillows and an orange juicer. I can't have fortified orange juice (which most of it is) but I love fresh squeezed!

My mom is getting a new food processor. She mentioned her old one (that she's had 20 years) broke and she cooks a lot.
My husband got his parents a computer to hook up to their tv, so they can stream movies from their home country. I also got MIL a Kate Spade bracelet, since I feel like the tv computer is more of a guy gift.

Wow - you guys buy big gifts for your parents!
We do much smaller gifts.
My dad is getting a Grandpa mug and a framed picture of DS1 (his school pic).
My mom is getting a Santa figure (it's a tradition and I get her one every year), a hand carved angel figure from a local place (it looks exactly like the tattoo she got in honor of her sister that passed away), and some cushy slippers and cozy throw blanket (cause she's always cold and watches our boys for free, so I wanted to get her something just for her).
My mom will probably be mad that I got her that much.

I just have my dad. I'll make a photo book of my Project 52 (portraits of my kids). But I have to finish the project and then make the book and have it sent, so he probably won't get it until February.

My mom I got some comfy lounge wear from Nordstrom and an electric wine opener.
My dad I got The Wire DVD set, some running headphones and some nice skincare that he likes.
My MIL and SFIL we usually send a lobster dinner for two on New Years Eve.
My FIL and SMIL we usually get a restaurant gift certificate.

I made a photo album for my parents and mil of lo pics--Chatbooks has a collaboration right now with Rifle Paper Co; we already use it (and have them sent to them year round) but this is nicer than the usual ones (hard cover rather than paper, plus RPC designs mixed in). We maybe will do something else too, I'm not sure. My parents will love it, but mil has higher standards, lol. The albums were less than $20 each with a coupon.

@josina: those blowup hot tubs always make me think of birthing pools. Hahaha.

My parents are getting an Echo Dot (on sale today), a hard boiled egg plate and a scale for their luggage. Oh and a framed picture from our family photo shoot.

@hellobeeboston: We primarily use it for music streaming - either pandora or amazon music. I listen to podcasts. Little things like get the weather forecast, set a timer, or ask the time.
DH wants to order the light bulbs that you can control with it. I think my mom sill hook it up to her smart thermostat. I don't think we use it to it's full potential but we got it on sale and really just wanted a way to stream music easily. We love it!

I usually get them a gift card to a nice restaurant or tix to a show.

We do restaurant gift cards for ILs. Both to the places we know they like and to one fancier place in town.
I was wanting to get them Amazon Prime this year but it's not in the cards financially. Everyone on my side is getting a DIY gift, except my father, who is getting a new knife set (which I got on a Black Friday deal and am splitting with my brother). I may also get him a framed photo of my LO and make my mom a salt-dough ornament with a handprint of my LO (she's SUPER sentimental so I know she'll love it).

Dad - tea set and tea
Mom - Hand soap lol
We're not big gifts people, and they know we don't have a ton of extra money right now, plus I'm about to give birth, so I usually just do something small as a gesture.

Both sets of parents got a Legacybox for the holidays as a couples gift (you can usually find a groupon for cheaper and have it shipped directly to you). We gifted it early, over Thanksgiving, when we knew they would be with our grandparents and thus many of the things they would want to archive. Honestly, they were sort of confused by the whole idea and I'm not certain how much they liked it - but DH and I also got one for ourselves and are very excited about it!

My FIL got an Amazon Echo for his birthday
My dad got an IOU for the new mini NES classic, when I can finally find it in stock somewhere.
(Both of these are sort of couples gifts too.)

Photo wall calendars of DD for mom and MIL, a stand mixer for MIL (can't believe she doesn't have one yet), a lunch/shopping date day with my mom (her request, easy one!), nice whiskey tumblers for my dad for his newly renovated man cave/wet bar, and for FIL I got three tickets for him/MIL/DH to see the local minor league hockey team in really good seats. They're huge hockey fans and sad to have recently moved away from a city that had an NHL team to ours which lacks one. Hopefully a decent substitute.

We're also sending a Shutterfly calendar, a homemade candle, and some peanut butter balls.

I got my mom a Coach purse (bday and Christmas present). I have no clue what to get my dad. Probably some nice sweaters since he recently lost a bunch of weight.
