Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love dressing up and seeing people who go all out. I don't have my costume nailed down for this year yet (eek!). If you're dressing up - what are you going to be?

I'm going to be a mummy. We're just going to my parents house for the night so I feel a bit silly because for sure ill be the only one in costume but whatevs, it's Halloween!

I generally try to skip Halloween. Costume = too much pressure. Almost all of the store costumes are trampy, and I am not interested in spending time making my own.

I need ideas too! I am going with a group from work to give out candy at the children's hospital. My costume can't be scary or include a mask. Last year I went as a cowgirl using items I already owned.

A bee! My son was one last year, I bought a package at the costume store that had wings and an antennae headband and glued strips of yellow felt onto a black sweatshirt for him (super easy, I did it in about a half hour while watching TV). So this year I'm going to use his old wings and antennae and make myself a bee striped sweatshirt. He thinks it's fun when I dress up too so I usually try to do something simple.

I have cat ears that I put on every year - wear all black, draw whiskers and a black nose. Lame, but sooo easy

I really wanted to be Booberella, but pretty sure work wouldn't appreciate that. We don't get any trick-or-treaters and we don't have any plans for a halloween party, so that might go on the back-burner for another year. I'll probably just wear the vamp fangs I bought last year to work.
