Charlie woke up early... we went to get coffee earlier, and will be heading out soon to eat. Then, we're going to the "Touch a Truck Brooklyn" annual event where kids can touch Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Trucks, etc. I think Charlie will love it!
Then hopefully a long nap by the kids, and then we'll have a BBQ with friends. I'm tired just thinking about all the activities, but I think the kids will love it?

LO just went down for her morning nap. When she wakes up, we'll probably head out - hubs wants to go to the distillery district but it's kind of cold out today. We'll see!

DH is working pretty much all weekend, so MIL and I decided to take a day trip to Myrtle Beach. Shopping, lunch, and maybe a movie...I'm excited!

I was craving something sweet so I tried to make monkey bread but realized too late that I didn't have any ingredients so I totally substituted way too many things - although it turned out OK. It was sunny this morning so we ate breakfast on the deck and finally planted out the sweet peas I grew from seed. DH painted the molding for the baby room, I did some cleaning and cooked some lunch.
We just finished watching Revenge and DH's completely knocked-out on the chair. We have tons more cleaning to do since we'll have company over in a few days.

My brother is coming over today. We're going to go to the movies and see Cabin in the Woods, and probably play some board games and catch up on some of the TV we watch together. Plus he's going to use my washer/dryer to do laundry, haha.

I'm driving an hour across town to help my friend with her daughter's first birthday party today! It's a ladybug theme and i made ladybug cake balls for it. It was such a PITA, but I think they look pretty good, especially for my first time ever making cake balls. It should be a fun day!

LO is about to go down for a nap. When he wakes up, we're going to try a new (well, new to us) Korean restaurant for lunch! I'm so pumped! Then, we'll be going to some stores. Nothing too exciting as far as I know.

@chopsuey119: same here! LO was up a lot last night so DH took him at 9am and I slept tIl 10:40am! It felt nice.
It's kinda dreary out today, and I would have loved to have a long walk with LO and DH. Bummer 
I plan to bake bread today but otherwise it's a low key day!

The cake balls went over really well! They were almost all gone when I left. It was a really cute party, even though we had to move most of it inside today because it was SO WINDY! The balloons kept flying everywhere and the polkadot pinwheels were going 50 million mph.
I'm so tired now that I think I'm taking a nap and making Hubby go get take-out for dinner.

Busy day here! Woke up around 7 and finished cleaning my house. My parents came over around 8:30 to finish painting our bedroom and the baby's room, install some shelving in our basement and laundry room, and build shelves in the garage. Then, at 10:30 my inlaws came over since my husband's uncle is here from out of town and we went to lunch with them and spent 2 hours at the greenhouse looking/buying plants while my parents worked at our house. Then, we came back to our house and gave the uncle a tour/showed inlaws the colors we picked for our rooms. Then ran errands with my mom. Now, my husband is out shooting guns with his BIL and friend and I'm resting.

We woke up around 6, DS kissed daddy good-bye for work and then we spent the whole morning getting ready. DS had an hour long bubble bath, then I got a quick shower in, afterward we napped. I took him out to Starbucks for lunch (his favorite? Oddball!) then we checked out a natural baby boutique and made a BRU run to buy a monitor and a few little things for LO #2.
I think we might spend the rest of the day hanging out with my mom (nana) and continue to do some shopping for baby. We still need to pick up a crib mattress and crib bedding.
