I can't wait for her to walk! She is getting so close.
Then I am ready for the everything must go in my mouth stage to be over.

I'm excited for DS to keep getting more words. Being able to actually communicate well with him is so fun and I can't wait until he can talk in full sentences!!
And I'm excited for DD to have full neck control lol.

almost 16 months, i'm loving the language explosion lately & can't wait for the sentences. And she's really showing interest in pottying & runs to the bathroom anytime we say potty or poop, so I think we might be pulling out the potty chair & see what she thinks!

I can't wait for her to be mobile - crawling, if she decides to do it!! - because she's so frustrated right now! I also can't wait for these bloody teeth to come though!!

Crawling, sitting up completely unassisted & truly starting solids! (She's 4months) we have a lot of exciting things ahead of us!!

I can't wait for the baby to crawl and walk! I am also looking forward to more words and sentences from my 2 year old.

I'm with @chopsuey on the wiping. Can't wait for DS1 to wipe himself! And DS2 to potty train.

A few... 1) want these teeth to pop through although I think it could be a while... 2) LAUGHING! She's making smiling/breathing noises that are clearly early laughter and I can't wait til I hear the actual giggles. Teething has made her less happy though, that's for sure and 3) sitting up on her own! She wants to SO BADLY!

I can't wait for LO to be able to communicate better/use more words!

Sitting on his own completely (he can for a few minutes before toppling over now) and crawling!! He's 6 months.

I'm actually having issues with her growing up too fast right now, so it's hard to say! I'm both looking forward to and dreading her crawling!
But I am definitely looking forward to her having actual words. As it is she is starting to be able to communicate a little, like she puts her arms out and leans back in the high chair when she is ready to get out, or she turns and stares at the toy she would rather be playing with. I love that she can have a little more control over what she wants (even if it's just her indicating to me what it is).
But not too fast, please. Slow down, little lady!
@Cherrybee: So E's teeth are still just hanging out below the surface too? Boo.

@kjpugs: C does the same non-laughing. She has this cobra hiss thing that she does when I think she wants to laugh. Adorable but chuckles will be really fun.

@Foodnerd81: exactly!! haha I have to tell my DH that, cobra hiss is hilarious and perfect.

@Foodnerd81: Yeah, we have a few days of mega teething and then it stops for a few days, then it's back.... it's been like this for three and a half months now. So annoying!!
I'm loving E growing up!! I've written lists of all the places I want to take her when she's big enough and have ordered a new, forward facing, big girl pushchair! I love that she wants to look around now, instead of staring at me! With everything new thing she learns to do - sitting in her high chair, eating solids (gah, her little open mouth action kills me!), reaching for things, making new sounds - she just gets so much more fun!! Grow, grow, grow little bean!!

@Foodnerd81: @kjpugs: Ahh, we have full blown shrieks and giggles now! They're so cute!

Solids! She stares at our food right now, so I can't wait for her to try real food! That said I don't want her to grow up at all, so once we hit that milestone she can stay the same forever and ever!

@MrsStormy: I'm equal parts excited and scared about starting solids. I can't wait for her reactions to tastes, but it's another food source to add to the mix of "is she getting enough?". She also stares at me eating or drinking lately!

Sleeping through the night would be welcome anytime for my 15 month old. I love where my 3 yo is right now but if I had to pick anything I'd say I'd love for his English to be a little better.

Definitely sentences and more language. Lately, I feel like his interpreter trying to make sense of his words. His two favorite words are "apple" and "cheese." I think "gaga" just became popular the other day. At least now at 17 months old, I can ask him what he wants and he responds with a yes or no.

@grizz: I thought that C was really close to doing this! I'm rooting for C's sleep. Sleep training changed our family and our marriage.

Oh, of course I forgot to add: getting back to her 25th centile curve AND maintaining it

I'm looking forward to her being potty trained lol!
Eta: I'm also looking forward to big lo starting school this year

DS1 - potty training and/or getting over the novelty of throwing food on the floor
DS2- coming home from the hospital!! and learning to sit up

@cascademom: He was doing awesome... and then he started cutting 3 teeth at once. One has popped, one is almost there, and one is on its way. We're still doing the Sleep Lady plan, but he is waking up a LOT. I'm just hoping that if we stay consistent he'll go back after these teeth finish cutting.

I can't wait for DS to start crawling. He tried so hard and can get up on both knees now but doesn't quite have the coordination to move forward. Mobility will be really fun for him!
