What are you looking forward to this week?

I get the Sunday bummers about Monday coming, so now that Monday is here I am trying to find the positives!

This week my daughter turns 2 YEARS OLD! I can hardly believe it. DH took off 3 days from work, so we are doing something fun everyday for 5 days all day So far we have the zoo planned one day, and a campfire on the lake at campus the next day, and a festival another day. Live music at the lake with ice cream (and beer) on one day, and the markets another day. I am just excited to be together and be outside!

What are you looking forward to this week? Big or small.

Wednesday night when DH gets home.

Then Sat my Dad is coming over to help DH (we need some of his tools) finally put the wainscoting in our hallway. I am taking LO for her first swim lesson on the season, so that is going to be fun! She loved them last summer.

Going to see TMJ doctor this week, so hopefully will get some help with my hurting jaw.

@LulaBee: Thank you! Oh, tmj is so terrible. I have it too. I hope you find some relief! For awhile I had to take valerian root at night, otherwise my jaw would twitch It still clicks constantly, I have to manage it.

@Smurfette: That will be wonderful to have your husband home! Wainscoting is lovely, it will probably be nice to have that finished. How cute about swim lessons! It is still 40 degrees here...

My best friend and her family are flying in on Wednesday to stay with us for a few nights. Another friend of ours is getting married on Saturday, and we're in the wedding. Gonna be a great weekend!!!

I'm looking forward to my first ultrasound for this pregnancy on Friday. Then my parents are coming on Sat to babysit so DH and I get a date night.

So much! DS has a play, a few baseball games, a field trip. We have our anniversary and we've only had two dates this past year so I'm really looking forward to alone time with DH. Then DD turns 3 next Monday so I'll be prepping everything this week!

My parents get here Friday morning! Can't wait to get to spend time with them and have extra sets of hands to help with LO and getting things done around the house.

I'm thrilled because I have NOTHING after work all week ... not a single thing! I'm going to relax and catch up on my DVR and go to bed early and do whatever the heck I want. I have never been so excited!

That sounds like so much fun!

Uhh...I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow to hear the heartbeat (and I'm really hoping for an U/S). We just had an unexpected U/S in the ER last week, so I'm not as nervous going into this first OB appt as I might have otherwise been. I'm pretty sure bambino is all good in there and I'm excited to hear the heartbeat if nothing else!

Also, as of yesterday our old apartment is cleaned out and closed up, so this is the first day I haven't had to stress about driving out there and getting a carload after work and then driving home (with E...we weren't getting home until 8!) It's so nice to have the weight of that place off of my shoulders!

Besides that we have a pretty laid back week planned...as in, our only real plans are to work on unpacking/organizing/decorating.

It's my wedding anniversary on Wednesday, and DH and I are celebrating by going to NYC this weekend without our son. He'll be staying with his grandparents. I'm so excited to get some alone time with DH and to visit NYC again!

@Greentea: Yep, we're totally all in! (Well, a decent amount of stuff is hanging out in the basement right now, but still...). This was our hardest move, because we both work full time, have a toddler (SO MUCH STUFF!) and I'm still fully in first trimester exhaustion (I'll be 11w on Thursday). I feel like I've been running full throttle on empty for like a month, and I'm so happy the hard part is over!

Last day of school is Wednesday (I'm a teacher) and then DH's birthday is on Friday. We are going to have a beach day on Saturday. Lots of good things this week!

I'm looking forward to sushi tomorrow. One of the senior managers is making everyone sit through a very late meeting, so at least we get food to sweeten the pill And maybe I'll get to have a birthday party this week, but that's totally up in the air because we're short of people at work again, so I'm probably working late all week.
