@IRunForFun: Oh man, the Goldfinch. I really liked it at the beginning and then the more I read the less I liked it, until I had to force myself to finish it because I'd invested so much time. I just really started to dislike the main character. I have other friends, though, who LOVED it. Would be interested to hear what you think.

@sera_87: I absolutely loved the Girl of Fire and Thorns series! Really quick reads too. I've heard Fates and Furies is fantastic, though. It's on my "to read soon" list.

@Bao: I must have quit Room too soon! But honestly, reading it while pregnant gave me all kinds of anxiety!

@sera_87: I read The Invention of Wings recently and enjoyed it!

I am currently juggling a couple of books: Why Not Me? By Mindy Kaling, The Devil in the White City, and Nineteen Minutes (which I am rereading from a long time ago because we are teaching it in our sophomore English class).
