We talk a lot about what our LO's like to snack on, but what do you like to snack on? I love me some snacks, but want to add some new ideas into my rotation...I tend to snack on what the girls snack on, which is pretty kid friendly stuff...they would steal my stuff otherwise, but not against my own "mommy" snacks!

PBJs, hard boiled eggs, bananas, clementines, turkey and cheese sandwiches with mayo and horseradish mustard on wheat, avocado toast topped with a fried egg, steamed edamame pods, hummus and carrots, chicken salad in pita pockets, leftover cake. And stale Red Vines.

Good question, I've been needing so many more snacks now that I'm pregnant, so I've been trying to stick to reasonably healthy things. Lately I've been doing yogurt (I looooove Noosa brand), apples, grape tomatoes with hummus, and protein cheerios in the cinnamon almond flavor.

Nuts. We have an awesome store nearby that imports nuts from the middle east and roasts them here in amazing flavours. My favs are the spicy almonds and lime & saffron pistachios.

Usually fruit, yogurt and protein bars. Sometimes almonds.

Atkins bars. The only treat I can have with GD.

@Bao: I've been eating the Questbars lately. They have a great carb to protein ratio. Low sugar (they use stevia). All the flavors are great. I buy them by the box off Amazon so they do seem to get hard from the cold, but I just pop them in the microwave for about 10 seconds and then they become soft/gooey ... it's like eating dessert!

Today hasn't been a normal day since my brother gave us a box of pixies/turtles yesterday but usually I try to have plain yogurt with nuts/berries or kasha and later on cheese and fruit. I also love TJ kosher pickles - I usually eat a couple when I get home from work.

Ringolos and sour jujubes. Realizing that I drive past the bulk store on my way home has been a real problem for me.

Boom Chica pop (amazing), veggies with hummus or guacamole, Greek yogurt, fruit, or energy balls.

Leftovers, potato salad sandwiches, hummus sandwiches, cocktail peanuts, Annie's snack mix, cookies, fruit, cucumber slices. I'm also in the mood to put banana peppers on everything!

I just made energy balls for me today too! They are basically nut butter and oats with some other stuff (honey, flax seed, coconut, chocolate...) that you roll into balls and keep in the fridge. It's a good way to get some quick protein.
I also made some snack mix with popcorn, cheerios, and pretzels for the whole family today.

Oh I want to cry, I snack way too much!
I just snack way too much on chocolate. Husband just came back from a business trip, which his connecting flight stops at Paris and he always buy truffles. And macaroons. I am just sneaking and eating those truffles like a rat. Sigh. Then I just kept eating my son's chocolate because for some reason he just keep getting candy from school
I hide them and he would forget but ended up I am eating them. Argh! I can stay away from soda but I am having a serious big problem with chocolate.

Fruit popsicles. It's about 15 degrees (F) outside, and I'm the weirdo eating popsicles under a fleece blanket.

Um....dark chocolate fudge cake mix cookies. It's so bad, but with breastfeeding a newborn I'm hungry ALL the time, and all I want is chocolate

@gingerbebe: @wrkbrk: Me three! I usually don't have the patience to let them get stale, though, so I keep my gummy bears in the freezer.
Lately, I am snacking on EVERYTHING. I need to pick up some healthier options, because breastfeeding has me wanting to eat constantly, and without sensible choices at hand, I've been grabbing too much cheese and too many sweets.

Unhealthy things: candy, any dessert/cookies/cake lying around, crackers, a handful of chocolate chips if I'm desperate. I have a serious sweet tooth!
Healthy things: baby carrots, yogurt, smoothies, low-fat string cheese, apples, pistachios.

@regberadaisy: I just bought that big bag from BJ's but have also bought it at Target,Shop Rite, and Whole Foods. You should be able to get it at any grocery store.

Cheese sticks, especially if the toddler is around, yogurt, crackers. If toddler is not watching, frozen cookie dough balls (no egg), leftover cake, any chocolate I can get my hands on... Like @lovehoneybee: I'm BFing all the time and want all the sweets.

@Bao: I make them! It is a mix of oatmeal, flax seed, coconut, chocolate chips, honey, peanut butter. mix it together and keep in refrigerator. it's a healthier take on a cookie. Tons of different variations on Pinterest!
