Charlie and Olive are sleeping, and I should be working. But I kinda want to catch up on American Idol instead. I'm 4 episodes or so behind!

Girls did not sleep well today. We bought a beautiful Japanese maple to plant in the front yard and then it began to thunder and lightning and hail... So now we're cooking Korma for dinner and I'm trying a new from scratch chocolate cake recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out.
ETA it looks like the cake dropped in the center. Maybe because Lala was bashing on the oven?

Watching Celtics Sixers in game 7. Intense.
Also watching Wagon Jr. kill a fly. It's come back to life at least 3 times by now. I don't understand why he can't just pick it up with a tissue after he "kills" it and get rid of it. He just leaves it in the lamp after dousing it in WD-40, walking away proclaiming "it's dead" and it always comes back to life.

After a very long day, LO is in bed, DH is watching tv, and I'm uploading pictures.
We had quite the traumatic experience with LO getting her foot caught in the crib yet again and freaking out about it, so I went out to get her a sleep sack (she normally just sleeps in footy pj's) and now I'm just sitting here worrying that she won't sleep well in the new outfit because she's used to being free. But if she wasn't in it I'd worry all night she'd get her foot caught. So there's no winning here.

We are watching Super 8 now. We had people over for a BBQ today. It was a great day!

I'm snuggling LO and DH is installing the new light fixtures we bought for our main floor. There has been a LOT of cursing going on in the kitchen. We're stearing clear.

Cleaned some, tidied up upstairs, laundry, wrote in the baby's journal. My husband went to the pool with me this evening and watched me float around. It was glorious. Came home and had the worst back pain and nausea. I could still eat dinner but just felt gross. Still feel off. Tomorrow I'm headed to the farmer's market first thing in the am!

@prettylizy: lol! Actually when Wagon Sr. kills a bug (that is, when he actually gets it done!) he curses at it for a good 60 seconds or so.... I think it's his way of getting his aggression out

@mrs. wagon: oh I wish! I took a while to respond to a friend today and when I finally got back to her, her response was "oh poo, I thought you were off going through labor or something!" Haha. All of my friends thought I was going to have the baby this weekend.
I had to laugh at Mr W yelling at bugs for a full minute.

And yeah... it's hilarious to watch him be so vindictive towards the dead bugs because he's such a gentle, sweet, loving person. His inner meanie comes out when it comes to bugs. A little scary, a lot funny!

Earlier today I did a photoshoot for a friend who's graduating, so fun! Now I'm trying to get things ready for a little party we've having tomorrow for Little A's baby dedication at church...but said baby will not nap unless I (and only I) hold her...
So I'm on Hellobee while stressing over how late I'll be up tonight frosting cupcakes.

My husband's cousin graduated from high school today, so I went to her ceremony. After we went to a small party for her and two other graduates. The hostess had Carabbas cater and the food was delicious! I spent the evening playing Jenga, Yahtzee, and Blokus with my mil while my husband and bil watched the Celtics.

We spent time with my husbands family. LO had a great day hanging out with his cousins. Then we had dinner with my parents. It was an eventful day for us.

We're chilling at home. I had dreams about hotdogs last night so we're probably gonna go to five guys for lunch

Mattress shopping and bring with the parentals! Then early to bed for our early am flight Tom!!
