i'm about to give charlie his bath and put him down for the night. olive slept horribly the last two nights so i'm hoping she sleeps better tonight so i can get some work done.

@chopsuey119: I only got two hours of sleep last night because Charlie woke up at 4:30... so Bee picked up Charlie tonight while I took a nap!
I just went upstairs to give Charlie his bath, and he said "No daddy" and wanted mommy to give him the bath. It's pretty rare that Olive stays asleep so that Bee can give Charlie his bath, so we'll go with it!

We're tidying the house and cleaning washrooms because we have a friend sleeping over tomorrow! She misses LO so much that she's coming over after work (LO will already be sleeping) to hang out and then sleep over just so that she can play with LO in the morning!

I had a horrible day today... I had written a whole new thread about it, asking for suggestions on how to cheer myself up, but I decided to rescind my pity party invitation and have some Five Guys and just zone out to TV. It's worked pretty well.
Now I'm happy to have my laptop open, leaning back on Rob Sr. and just RELAXING with the puppies! (even though Dory just threw up a piece of onion she ate off the ground that dropped from one of our burgers.)After a ROUGH evening together, RJ went to bed pretty quickly and easily... he must have had a super short nap at daycare today because he was exhausted.

@Rubies: that is SOOOO sweet!!! Most of my friends are in the just-married, therefore scared to spend time with kids because they just want to enjoy newlywed life stage of life, so not a lot of our friends spend a lot of time with RJ.

Trying to soothe my LO who had 3 shots/1 oral med this afternoon. She is FUSSY! Hopefully, I can work on birth announcements and finish some thank you cards later.

@Rubies: you are us 3 years ago!! we were the only married ones. Our wedding was AWESOME because it was the first wedding most of our friends had ever attended and everyone was so excited, and EVERYONE came. Our friends have slowly been getting married all around us-- one year we went to 7 weddings, turned down 3 other invites and we were IN four of those 7 weddings. Get ready for the wedding wave!!!
Now everyone's having their first babies... and we're starting to see the divorces
