@Smurfette: Little boy born on Thanksgiving!
he had some mild respiratory distress at birth and some yucky labs so he's on a 10 day course of iv antibiotics. Discharge tomorrow!

Trying to finish up my Christmas shopping online. Almost done, but having trouble with my dad and brother.

@Mrs. Deer: haha, things went back and forth for us. At first our sitter cancelled so we were staying home, but then we got another, so we did end up seeing it! We just got out. Amazing!

we went to a christmas parade and then DH is at a party for the end of his fire academy. i'm staying home with DD and just reading the bee.

Catching up on grading, yuck!

My mom's here this weekend, so she helped DH and I finish up all the nursery furniture and went out through the snow with DH to get the crib mattress. Then we watched lots of great college football out at the bar. Went out and got the fabric we needed to make the matching bed skirt, crib skirt, and body pillow cover, and wrapped up the night by bringing out my grandpa for appetizers and beers. Before bed we washed down the nursery walls and applied the test decals so that tomorrow we can finish everything up. Pretty fun and productive day, all in all!

@Smurfette: um... I was 99% sure I was having a girl - I even bought girl clothes! It made the surprise that much better! Except now we have a nakey baby BOY lol!
