not much. mr. bird is working until nine. i just booked our grand canyon tour (woohoo!!!) and am doing some vacation planning while i wait for dinner to finish (in the crockpot). i also need to plan our meals for this week & do some laundry.

Giving R her bottle now, then book, earlier bedtime tonight she is tired. DH just left for some get together with old frat brothers. Dinner is cooking so I guess I will make my lunch for tomorrow and watch tv.

Not much! I helped my dh shovel our drive a bit ago and I think I over-did. My back and stomach are a bit achey so I'm going to sit my butt on the couch and not move the rest of the night. My dh has been working on school work all day so I hope he's done soon and can grab us some dinner and then we can maybe watch a movie or something.

We've been doing house renos all weekend - exhausted! I am going to watch a couple of episodes of Sons of Anarchy tonight, eat leftovers and go to bed early. So exciting!

Just finished packing for my business trip tomorrow and relaxing for a few minutes before cleaning dinner dishes and frosting some cupcakes I made for the office. I also attempted macarons (which didn't work the first time - batter too thick then too thin) with a nut free recipe and they came out great!!!

I'm tying to get the baby to sleep, then I need to put away his laundry and finish getting our stuff ready for his first official day at daycare/my first day back at work. I also need to pick up some stuff around the house because oh cleaning service comes tomorrow. Thrilling night around here!

@redsmarties: I was so nervous to try it. The key is the batter for sure - what I did was take some in a spoon and put it on a plate. If it didn't fall into itself and become a flat batter without running everywhere it was good. My first attempt it was way too thick, like frosting, and then I overbeat it and my circles ended up every shape that exists lol

@redsmarties: I meant to put vanilla bean in the cookies, but I forgot, so they just taste meringue-y and kind of nutty (I think? they smell kind of nutty..) because I used quinoa flakes ground up due to a nut allergy. The filling is chocolate ganache
