Pretend that you actually have time to watch the shows or movies that you want and aren't insanely busy this summer with work/kids/daycare/vacations/etc. What're you watching these days?
Curious because I could use something new to watch.

Great topic! I recently started watching the Amazing Race. Prime doesn't have as many seasons as hulu, so I am currently watching The Amazing Race season 3 on hulu.

We watched The Shield while I was on maternity leave. My husband picked it, and I wasn't that interested at first, but it was really good!

@sorrycharlie: Do it! Do it! Do it!
I actually haven't watched anything on Amazon Prime. I think I remember looking once and wasn't too happy with what they had. It's been a few months, though. I should look again. Especially since I've been using Amazon Music almost everyday.

I caved and bought HBO "Girls." Enjoyed it but made the mistake of watching it on my iPad at the gym one day. I had to dive to cover the screen because of all the sex scenes, lol.

Forensic Files! It's about real murders. I am not usually into scary stuff but for some reason I love it.

@hummusgirl: I love murder mystery shows! Will look for that

Pretty much the only things I've watched on Prime are Orphan Black (season 1) and Alpha House (one of their original series). A lot of HBO shows are now on there for free, so I plan on rewatching Eastbound and Down and John Adams soon!

I want to watch Once Upon a Time but it says I still have to pay per episode so no thanks!

@Weagle: What's Suits about? I've already watched all the Call the Midwife episodes I was so excited when I saw them on there! Plus Mr. Selfridge, Bletchley Circle, etc. Masterpiece gets me every time
@Tanjowen: I'm taking a wild guess and thinking it's about football - right?
@futuremama: Normally I'm into crime dramas but lately they just haven't been as appealing. Or the ones I'm into are the period dramas, like Murdoch Mysteries Something a little less flash, bang, graphic, you know?
@sorrycharlie: Do it. Do it now. And when you get to Season 3 let me know because I still haven't seen it!!!

@NaturallyCathy: It's about a big law firm in New York that hires a kid that's never been to law school. But he's super smart and passed the bar and they lie about it. Sounds dorky, and I'm not explaining it well, but I promise it's really good!

@bluestriped bee: I like it a lot We're on it at least once a day either for us or the kids. They've got some old kid shows that are big favorites of mine from when I was little and I love seeing the way the kids react to them! Plus, Daniel Tiger to season 4! Yay!
@Mrs. Yoyo: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand now you have me curious. What's 'Girls' about?
@Radish: I love the looks of the actress who is always front and center? But I'm afraid it might be too deep, dark, drama for me. What do you think?
@hummusgirl: I used to watch those! Whenever she would get a kid in I would want to cry - and that was before I ever had kids Not sure I could watch it now.
@theonewhere: Those sound interesting! I've never watched an HBO series.

@Kimberlybee: Yeah, you have to actually look for what's available under Prime. I get super excited sometimes when they add items but then get bummed when it isn't covered under Prime. I just want it all!

@mrskc: Okay, you're the second one to mention it. What's it about?
nectarine / 2521 posts
@NaturallyCathy: Actually, no! Its based off a Stephen King novel and about a town mysteriously trapped under a glass dome. Season 2 is on Prime starting tomorrow! It was pretty good the first season and it's a summer series.

@Tanjowen: Well that's exciting! I like Stephen King. Surprised my mom hasn't turned me on to it before now. Thanks for mentioning it, I'll check it out

@NaturallyCathy: It's basically a grittier Sex in the City for 20-somethings.

@NaturallyCathy: it's about this girl who finds out that she's a clone. It's good! I didn't think the first episode was that great but by the end of the second, DH and I were hooked!

@Mrs. Yoyo: See I was too you for the Sex in the City craze. Never saw the series (no HBO plus too you g) and never saw the movies so I still have no idea what it's like. Remember. Born in the 90s
@mrskc: Clones... You have me intrigued.

@NaturallyCathy: OMG child. I'm off to find my Metamucil.

@Kimberlybee: I think you can watch OUAT on Hulu and/or Netflix if you have those?
I'm ashamed to admit I'm in the middle of Teen Mom 3. Giving myself major side-eye.
LIKE, WTF is up with the dudes on this show!? I think they are all on drugs. They remind me of my ex (although he wasn't on drugs) but all the one word answers, and "Uh-huh. ....yah...." I mean could they BE more disinterested in the girls?!

Breaking Bad- on Netflix though. I'm on Season 4. It is slow going as I don't have a lot of time to watch much. BUT, I'm on 24 hour duty today with NOTHING to do, so I brought my iPad!

@theonewhere: @NaturallyCathy: is call the midwife on prime? I can't find it and I've been wanting to watch it!

@theonewhere: I didn't think so I signed up for a free month of netflix streaming although it seems that my internet may be too slow anyway.
