Kids Exchange is going on this week again. I'm going Friday to look around for a few things. So tell me, what were your favorite items you bought or were given used? What do you wish you had got used instead of buying new?

baby bjorn bouncer! that thing is pricey, but i bought it used and then sold it for the same price.
also graco stroller frame, exersaucer, bumbo, boon high chair.... i've bought a lot of things used!

I bought a used BOB and Im psyched a got a deal on it!

We've gotten all kinds of things used. Bouncer, swing, jumper, walkers etc. all for over half off what they would have cost new.

@Mrs. Bee: what's a good price on the bjorn babysitter used? It's one thing that is on my list.

@mediagirl: i paid $80 but it was for the organic one with toy bar, which retails for almost $200. i've seen them sell for $125!

We got quite a few things used. The best latest find was a fisher price jumper for 1/3 of the retail price. LO is a little older (7 mos) and we dont plan to keep it forever so buying used and then selling should be great.

Yea I am considering selling some of our larger gear instead of storing it.

Most everything that lasts a short period of time: jumperoo, exersaucer, fisher price portable highchair (straps onto a dining chair), toys, swing, bumbo, extra car seat base, etc. And one of my favorites is our glider, which I had new cushions made for.
The jumperoo and exersaucer are by far the best Craigslist buys so far!

I got a baby bjorn carrier from my sister in law and a fisherprice snugabunny sleeper which my baby loves. We are also being gifted with a used bumbo.

Haven't used any yet but I have bought used: bumbo, rock and play sleeper, my little lamb bouncer, baby k'tan, snap and go, and a Mozart cube toy. I've been pleased with all of them!

I got a Bumbo for like $15. I was really glad to get it used because I think they are ridiculously overpriced and most babies outgrow them quickly.

I didn't buy them but a friend let us borrow her Bjorn, bassinet and Jumperoo! I wish I bought a Bumbo used because LO doesn't use it that much and her thighs are getting too big!
