Charlie needs a new winter wardrobe as he's outgrown almost all his clothes from last winter. Most of the clothes I buy are from Gap, Old Navy, Zara and H&M.
What are some of your favorite places to buy baby/toddler clothes?

From 0-9 months most of his stuff was Carter's - inexpensive and he grew out of it so fast. I love the Gap and Old Navy.
Have you been to Century 21? They have a lot of stuff for toddlers like Puma, Nike and Adidas for playing.

I love going to the outlets and TJ Maxx (it's really good here since TJX is located in MA, apparently) for things like Polo, Kenneth Cole, etc. We also go to the New Balance factory store for his sneakers. Most of his nice clothes are from Gap or Janie and Jack, and his playclothes / daycare clothes are all from Carter's, Children's Place, and Old Navy. We get a lot of hand-me-downs from Target.

We love BabyGap! The fit is best for Emma and there are always sales. Over the weekend we bought 15 items for $65! She also has a few items from Janie and Jack and Gymboree that we got as gifts. We're also big fans of Peti Bateau, but only when our French relatives mail them to us as gifts!

I like H&M and Baby Gap for everyday play clothes, and Nordstrom and boutiques for fancier stuff.

I hate paying adult prices for baby clothing so I do a lot of my shopping at TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. I've also made some awesome purchases on Craigslist (ie. $20 for 50 pieces) from really nice clean households that has made it possible for me to splurge on other luxury items for baby.

I love Baby Gap and Janie & Jack. Also, I ordered some ToobyDoo clothes off Giltgroup and love the quality. I want to try Zara and H&M. Surprisingly, I've found some great basics/playclothes- organic bodysuits, striped t-shirts, shorts, and thick sweatpants- at Walmart that look pretty good for a great price.

I'm like you Bee. H&M, Old Navy, Mexx (canada only) Gap and sometimes Children"s place (they have awesome deals) I don't like baby looking clothes so I tend to go to fashion like places

Children's Place has really great deals, but the only thing I don't like about it is so many kids wear their clothes in our neighborhood. I recognize their clothes on the playground all the time.
I also don't like baby looking clothes, but maybe I should enjoy Charlie's babyhood a little more.

There used to a Mexx in midtown NYC... but I guess it closed down. I had no idea that Zara made kids clothes. I may have to investigate this weekend.

Once Upon a Child- it's a chain with locations all over the country that sells gently worn kids clothes.
I routinely find BabyGab, H&M, Children's Place, Janie & Jack, Tea Collection, Zutano and scores of other name brands there for a a fraction of the price.
For instance, all the Janie and Jack outfits- pants with a match shirt are around $8 instead of $50. Tea Collection dresses that are usually $30 new, $8.
They also sell baby gear (toys, strollers, etc.).
I always look there first before paying full price anywhere else.

I get clothes for my nieces all the time at Target...the have super cute basics and it's inexpensive!

The baby clothes at Zara kill me, SO cute! I'm sure when we have kids, we'll probably shop at H&M, Zara & American Apparel (places we shop for ourselves) for special items, but get most basics at Target.

Tomorrows Child (which is a consignment shop!), Macy's, PX, Gymboree, and Toys R Us

I shop at carter's and target the most bc they're the most affordable, but I also shop at macy's, gymboree, baby gap, and children's place every once in awhile...

I always feel bad for Claire and BebeDeux because I seriously HATE shopping. Luckily most of the clothes we have are hand-me-downs, but on the few occasions when I did buy clothes, they were from BRU or Old Navy. I hate spending a lot of money on baby clothes (heck I hate spending over $20 on a shirt for myself) so it was always when they were having a sale.
Oh, the one exception was the time my husband and I walked past a Baby Gap and he went crazy buying dresses for Claire. Baby Gap is usually out of our price range, though...we would rather save the money now so they can pick their own, nicer clothes when they get older.

Century 21 has some really cute baby/toddler clothes and designer brands at a discount... Splendid, Ella moss, dkny, calvin klein, and much more I can't think of right now... some European brands too.
I also find good deals at the sale racks at Bloomies. Wish I still lived by a Nordstrom... there's buying online, but I feel like you can get better sale items in person.

Ha ha, baby clothes, what are those! For the first 6 months, my son wore sleepers almost exclusively. You can't beat a zippered one piece for warmth and convenience in those early days. I got them from Carters so when they got wrecked I could let them go. I do have some nicer outfits from Ralph Lauren and Janie and Jack for when we had some where to go.
That being said, favorite places: BabyGap, Janie and Jack, Gymboree, Ralph Lauren via Macys, all on sale of course!

There are a couple huge consignment sales run in my area by the Moms of Multiples clubs. I've gone twice now (spring and fall) and have managed to buy almost everything I needed for the next several months.

I buy all of DD's clothing almost exclusively on ThredUp. She grows so fast, I have a hard time justifying the cost of new clothes. If I need something specific, I'll usually buy it in-person at Costco (they sell a lot of Carter's) or at Ross.
We're a bit spoiled, though, because my mom loves to buy DD beautiful, impractical clothing from Gap Baby, Janie and Jack, etc... So we do have a collection of really nice clothes we paid nothing for.

I scour the consignment stores, but if I had alllll the money in the world, I would completely outfit my son, my daughter...heck, even me, in Boden! So. freaking. cute.
