I have a lot of current season or last season higher end baby clothes that I would like to try to get some money out of. Does anyone have suggestions on where the best place would be? We don't really have good consignment shops around here so I'm more leaning towards online. Ebay doesn't really seem like a great idea either with all the listing fees and Paypal fees.

How old is your LO and do you have a boy or a girl? The best place I know of is Ebay. I know you can sell things on AMazon too though.

Have you heard of Plato's Closet? The company that runs that store also has Play It Again Sports and a store for used baby stuff called Once Upon a Baby. You could try one of those stores. They buy/sell clothes, toys, strollers, packnplays, etc. They also buy/sell maternity clothes.

@mediagirl: There's a once upon a baby near my house! I had no idea they bought baby stuff! Will have to take all of my stuff there when we're done having babies.

@ Mediagirl- there isn't a Once Upon a Child anywhere near us.
They are newborn/unisex and some baby boy clothes all in the 0-3/3 month/newborn sizes. Janie and Jack and other like items.

I would even think about using a site like this to find a "buddy" who maybe had a baby a couple months younger.
I know OMG I'm a Mom blog (WB Mrs. Dumpling) posts some of the higher end stuff on her blog on occasion and resells it straight from there. (Here is an old example: http://theomgmom.com/?p=1255)
There is also a website (I forget the name) where you box stuff up and people buy the box. The company sends you the box and pays for the shipping.

Have you tried Craigslist? I'm totally going to look on CL for good clothes for our baby. Heck, I'm looking now for maternity clothes.
