@autumnlove: We've had it for approx 6 months and ours are definitely lower, about 10%. It would be more if no one was home during the day, but LO and the nanny are, so our ac/heat is always running. The nest is more efficient than your regular thermostat though, because you can schedule when you want the ac/heat to go on/off, but also because it can tell when you're not home since it has a motion-detector. We forgot to turn off off the ac when we went away for vacation, and when we checked in on it, we realized that it noticed no movement and automatically turned off. You can also control it from your iphone so we can be super lazy and if we're feeling cold/hot, we can up/lower the temp right from wherever we are! Or, when we were coming back from vaca, we turned it on when we were an hour out so it would be nice and cool for us. I love it!
