Our daughter's preschool had an orientation today, and this was on the form they asked us to fill out. I wanted to write down "listening", but that was too much honesty so early in our relationship.
What are your LO's dislikes?

HAHA I was just about to say, being told to do something she doesn't want to do.
She doesn't like certain foods, loud noises, or having to get out of her stroller after a walk (?!)

When her parents try and help her do anything LO2 is pretty chill, she doesn't like random people in her face, but either do I.

Loud noises(cars driving by, vacuum, etc) andbeing picked up by unfamiliar people

DD1--the vacuum cleaner and eating . She does not eat!
DD2--bottles, unfortunately.

Not getting her way.
And motorcycles - she is irrationally *terrified* of them.

DS1 - band-aids, neosporin, peppermint flavored medicine, water in eyes and/or ears, getting dirty/messy/sticky, black straws, vacuum cleaners, clipping nails, and drawing/coloring
DS2 - sleep, strangers, clipping nails, road trips (more like being confined in a car seat), and diaper changes

LO 1-"big dogs, ceiling fans, strangers, missing toys, shoes & socks, pants. She also hates it when kids/adults refer to water as WA-WA!
LO 2- when people take her stuff, shoes & socks, diaper changes, nail cutting, shower heads, bath time without dad, and Grandma's funny noises.

DS -besides being picky about food (lots of stuff he doesn't like), he's pretty easy going. He doesn't like when I have my hair up.
DD -tshirts, shirt sleeves scrunch up under a coat/jacket, mama with hair up (same as her brother), hair brushing.

Long walks on the beach, sand, ocean water. Which really sucks because guess where we are right now Sweet potatoes unless they are in fry form, most vegetables unless they are in fry form
@autumnlove: bwahhahaha! I may be just too tempted to use the Wa-Wa one just for fun
@yin: so many similarities between each of our kiddos. The black straws totally cracked me up though.

@lemondrop: Black straws are banned in our house... Still have no idea why. Haha.

Dogs!! She loves to point at them and say doggie, but if they get within 5 feet of her, she screams.
honeydew / 7303 posts
Mashed potatoes, certain songs, riding in her stroller at all, being in the car

It changes more often than I can keep up with! At the minute it is lying on his back for nappy changes, being strapped into his pushchair (once he's in he's fine though), and being offered ANYTHING other than porridge for his breakfast!

Doing something that's not her idea, listening to the word no, and her bed

Reading a book only once (although, I'm trying really hard not to think of this as a bad thing!)
Washing his face.
Having wooden spoons/sticks/branches taken away from him.

Having her face wiped after meals. She cries like I'm pulling teeth. Getting strapped into the car seat (once she is in, she is generally OK). Having the shoulder straps over her shoulders in the stroller. She pulls her arms through so they are strapped around her belly instead. Weirdo.

@mrs. wagon: lol!
At the moment: baths, having her face wiped down, having a diaper on, having her hair in a ponytail, the blanket covering her at night, brushing her teeth, and being forced to sit in a booster seat instead of a regular chair.

@mrs. wagon: booo, it's blocked at my work! Don't these people know I have videos to watch! Will watch when I get home...

@NovBaby1112: lol.. it's just Cartman saying "I do what I want!"

Being offered anything other than the thing that he wants I. That given moment! He would throw a cookie in my face if what he truly wanted was to play with one of dads tools or something else he is coveting.

LO#1 - showers, most fruits/vegetables, loud noises, the dark
LO#2 - stopping at a red light

My 13 month old hates:
Getting his face & hands wiped, having his nails trimmed, being restrained in anyway, too much yelling and people in one room at once (he gets way overwhelmed and will start crying. I'm the same way, minus the crying part lol)
