My LO will put her hands behind her head when she is tired! If I wait too long after that to put her to bed, we have a problem lol

She sucks her thumb, rubs her eyes, gets a bit fussy...

The usual rubbing eyes and yawning. Cries when he gets overtired.

Her eyes starts to get red and she rubs them.

Rubs her eyes and kind of like...grumbles herself to sleep.

Classic eye rubbing and yawning. And fussing.

He gets sooooo emotional. Anything will just set him off and he'll start sobbing. That's when you know you've waited too long, lol.

olive yawns and rubs her eyes. she is pretty easy.

She starts talking and giggling. It's so much fun but I know she is pretty tired at that point.

She gets a little clingy and starts rubbing her eyes and sometimes gets started on her thumb.

DS yawns and rubs his eyes. Sometimes he kind of pulls at his hair. If I wait too long, he gets really fussy.

He rubs his eyes and the skin around his eyes gets flushed/pink. And he gets fussier.

Wagon Jr. starts whining, throwing tantrums and gets really emotional.
LMW scratches at her right ear and rocks her head back and forth while starting to close her eyes.

He starts rubbing his eyes with his fist and giving a close-mouthed humming-moan.

Her hands stay by her head when she's ready for sleep - either rubbing her face or holding her hands to her ears. She also yawns too. She fights sleep though.

When she rubs her eyes, we've waited too long.

My son yawns and his eyes start drooping. My DD scratches her ears or the back of her head. She will also run her eyes or bury her head into her blanket.

She whines and yawns. If we put her to bed quickly after, she sucks her thumb right away then goes to sleep. If we don't, she starts arching her back, rubbing her face, whines more, cries, and fights sleep entirely.

LO just starts staring off in space and he slows down.

She gets kind of whiny and rubs her eyes. If we're on the floor playing she will roll over to me and lay her head in my lap while she plays.
