Getting LO over the croup. This sucks! She is pitiful, I'm worried, and DH will have to come up here instead do our great weekend with his family that we had planned.

We have a wedding to go to tomorrow, and I'm so happy for the couple b/c it's mid-March in NY but it's gonna be close to 60 tomorrow!
Meanwhile I got married on memorial day weekend and it was super cold/rainy

We're going to a huge consignment sale and the cloth diaper store tomorrow to hopefully get some last minute things that we need for LO. I also would like to finish baby's mobile and hang up more pictures in the apartment. DH wants to rearrange some closets as well. Mostly, though, I'm going to appreciate being on SPRING BREAK and not needing to go into work for a whole week. YAY!

So excited- the Mr. is picking me up from the train station, and we're going to go get crab cakes! It is totally NOT crab season right now, but I really, really don't care. I'm not sure this is a straight-up pregnancy craving, but it's close enough.

Dh is coming home from a 3 week business trip to Africa tomorrow morning. I need to go pick him up from the bus station in the morning, and then I think we're going to just lay around like dorks all day. I am just so relieved he's coming home. I'm used to time alone, but it's been really hard while having pretty severe MS.
Sunday my grandparent's church is having a Lent concert. It's a big thing apparently, so I'm going to try to make that. I'm not religious, but they are very involved in their church and I don't mind occasionally hitting the big things to be supportive of them.
@LovelyPlum: Sounds fun. I can't wait to start hitting the consignment stores and shopping for baby. I think it will make it feel so much more real.

@Ms.Pumpkin: Gosh, I used to love crab cakes so much but I've developed a severe crustacean intolerance as an adult. Enjoy them!
@snowjewelz: Wow! Sounds like a great day for a wedding. We're supposed to be partly sunny and 48 today. I feel like I should skimp on the work and maybe go do something outside. This is seriously the best weather we've had here in MI-it's pathetic.

R's 1st birthday party is tomorrw. DH and I are off today getting stuff done while she is at day care.

Relaxing!!! This will be one of our last weekends at home at as just two so we're going to stay at home and do little projects in the nursery and make some freezer meals. We've been going non-stop for the past few weeks and have only ate 2-3 dinners at home since our shower on Feb. 22nd!

We are headed on vacation for a week starting tomorrow! Hoping LO doesn't go too crazy on the 3.5 hr flight!

Our good friends have twins, and one was diagnosed with leukemia 2 years ago at the age of 3. Tomorrow, his parents are throwing a huge no-mo chemo party for him as he just finished his last treatment, and I can't wait to celebrate with them!! I don't think there could be a better reason to throw a party!

Tomorrow DH and I are going to pick up the house and do laundry, then we have a benefit dinner to raise money for a good friend's mom who is dying of cancer and doesn't have much longer.
Then Sunday we are going to spend the day visiting my granny and DH's granny with the baby.
