I just realized that I have 33 pairs of baby socks. THIRTY THREE. I don't know how this happened. Except maybe that I keep buying them because they are so adorable (over half of them are various trumpette styles). I am cutting myself off though!

Bows and headbands! I've bought a few a week since she's been born and she's 12 weeks...I don't plan on stopping either lol.

It's socks for us too! I registered for a couple sets of Trumpette socks because they were so cute, and we got those and then some! Everyone loves baby socks apparently. She has a huge cubby just for socks, and its completely full. She also has too many shoes.

Sleepers and onesies. I have a ton in newborn size all gender neutral. I have bought every single cute gender neutral sleeper or onesie I have seen. Once LO is born I am sure I will have tons of clothes. If LO is a girl she will have WAY to many bows

Possibly blankets . . . we inherited a TON from my niece and nephew, plus I made a whole bunch. And sippy cups. We have 8+ for our 7 month old. It just sort of happened. My husband would say too many bows and hair clips, but I disagree. A girl cannot be without her accessories!

BOWS. Her bow holder is completely full already and I have more in the mail on their way. 
She has flowers, rosette bows, satin bows, boutique bows, small bows, huge bows... oh man. Way too many.

@sorrycharlie: Hahaha. Looks like C's closet! She has massive amounts of clothing. Her NB/0-3 are packed away but she has all the way up to a few 2T items in her closet and dresser, which are both overflowing. Girlfriend owns more shoes that I do!

@mediagirl: Nordstrom! They are kind of spendy though. Carter's has some but they leave marks on LO's head. The rest are from a wholesale online shop--I think I bought 23 bows and headbands for around $17!

Baby blankets! I have tons of various kinds ... but I actually use them and it's kind of nice to not have to every worry about having to wash a blanket; there's always a few clean ones in the closet

I had too many gerber cloth diapers to use as burp cloths. I just found another 12 and we haven't used them in months.
I also have too many sheets for the crib...7.

Ugh, flipping baby hats. We have about 50 that were all given to us. I think she only ever wore 2. Ridiculous.

Baby quilts. We have about a half dozen baby quilts and another half dozen knitted/crocheted blankets, all given to us, and none of which that match the nursery. I keep most of them packed away, other than one big one in the car for putting Sawyer down on the ground at the park etc, and one in the living room for putting on the floor to play.

@plantains: Us too. Not counting sunhats or hats that are actually part of outfits, LO had 18 newborn hats (the little stocking hats)... and I think she wore them for the two days in hospital and that was about it. I don't know what I was thinking when I kept getting more and more - total waste of money!

Blankets!!! We didn't register for any other than A and A swaddles (4 pack) and ended up with 10 plus the swaddles...and 2 quilts!!

Receiving blankets!!!!!! Didn't register for any but I am pretty sure we ended up with about 40.
I don't even use them AT ALL. (Use muslin blankets and other types of baby blankets).
I am also a bit overwhelmed with all the quilts and knitted blankets we got too, but at least I use those sometimes (though we did NOT need such a selection).
Looks like everyone gives too many blanket gifts.

@cvbee: I cut up all the receiving blankets I received, sewed the edges and used them as cloth wipes. Voila - free wipes
@MsMini: Yeah, we have a few quilts. My grandma made him two, and my great aunt made him one. One is the general colors, and the two from my grandma - albeit beautiful - are safari animals in baby green and blue, which don't match. But it's the sentiment. It's special to have something from his great-grandma. We use them as a play mat.
