I have no clue what I want to read next. I keep going back to my list of want to reads but everything sounds so boring now! I've attempted to read a few different books the past few months and I can't get past the first few chapters, I'm in a reading rut and it stinks!

honestly, the whole series wasn't really my favorite, I don't know why I continued to read it. I just liked that something different (sort of) happened in book 3, I can't even remember book 2, haha.

@Anagram: I am reading it now, I have been reading it on and off for the better part of this year (you can really just read chapter by chapter, and put it down and pick it up later, which I like).
I tend to only read non fiction these days, I am on hold buying new stuff until I finish off what's on my Kindle.

I am anxiously awaiting Tuesday's release of the final Discovery of Witches book! This series is the best thing I have read in a long time.

Just started reading And the Mountains Echoed by Hosseini Khaled (Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns) and as usual, his writing is phenomenal and I'm already 160 pgs in. Highly recommended! It's not a long book, and it's a fast read.

@chibee: I've been looking to read this one too! But my library isn't great and I'm too cheap to buy a hardcover I'll read once. Is it out in paperback?
I just finished Gone Girl which was really good and an easy read. I have Sharp Objects (same author) on deck. I'm currently reading Silver Star now (author of one of my favorite books The Glass Castle) which is decent so far. I love reading

I want to read Eleanor & Park, but they don't have it as an e-book at my local library. I also want to read Wonder - I'm 15th in line for that book.

I am currently reading, "The Sixth Extinction," which is really fascinating but totally bringing out my hoarder tendencies. I think I would go for some lighter non-fiction, maybe more science-y science? And then I have a Michael and Kathleen Gear book that I'm going to try-- I have really liked their stuff in the past (pretty solid historical grounding), but maybe my tastes have changed? I also just finished, "To Rise Again at a Decent Hour," and I'm going to hunt for more by that author.
