Skinnydipping by Bethenny Frankel is supposed to be a good beach read. I haven't read it though. It's on my reading list.
I'm a big fan of Jodi Picoult, Nicholas Sparks, and Diane Chamberlain (to name a few (: ).

Anything by Marian Keyes is a wonderfully trashy beach book.
I just read Divergent by Veronica Roth, and if you're a fan of the Hunger Games, its terrific.

I read "Her Fearful Symmetry" by Audrey Niffeneger (sp?) - the same author of The Time Traveler's Wife. I really liked it - well written and fascinating story
Have fun at the beach!!

I was going to say, when do you have time to read with your lo there! I like magazines, much quicker to read, and if I stop for a while it doesn't matter unlike a book where if I put it down ill forget what I already read.

Jodi Picoult books are good beach reads - the day will fly by! I am also quite enjoying the 50 Shades of Grey series
I am jealous that you're going to the beach!

I like anything by Bill Bryson. I read more nonfiction now because I don't lose the plot if it's months between reading sessions.

@His Barista: just from the title, it doesn't sound like a beach read? LOL.
@ALittleP: i think i am in the minority but i didn't like The Time Traveler's Wife -- oops!
