We feed our dog Fromm Gold. I think the whole Fromm line is really great, and its not that much more expensive than Nutro. Personally, we had a bad experience with Nutro (Nutro Max specifically) and our vet told us she actually has heard the most negative about Nutro than any other brand.

We feed our dog Natures Recipe. She had a lot of trouble with throwing up on other dog foods. It got to the point where she threw up so much one night that it was basically piles of blood It was really scary. After that we fed her some $12/can stuff the vet gave us and once we ran out of that I decided we would try the natural stuff. She doesn't get sick hardly ever anymore
(She was eating Pedigree before...)

He eats Acana, he has a sensitive stomach, it's pricey but preferable to the alternative.

@daniellemybelle: really? That's interesting to me bc our vet reco'd Nutro and we've had no issues. I'll def look into Fromm!

sams club chicken & rice dry food. we've tried all of those "natural" and "high end" products and my dogs just wouldnt take to them. they'd diarrhea all the time and finally my vet suggested we try the sams club and it's been good for the past year!

@regberadaisy: If you haven't had any issues, then I wouldn't worry about it! But it was definitely not a good fit for our dog and it was interesting that our vet said that!

Natural Balance. Our dog has a sensitive gut and gets itchy if there are a lot of fillers in the food. This brand has been a good balance (haha, pun) of no fillers but not crazy expensive!

Blue Buffalo grain-free with salmon and potatoes and all kinds of vegetables. Our dogs eat better than we do most days

Earthborne Hollistic grain free. We switched a year or so ago after using Innova for many years, both with our current dogs and my previous, diabetic poodle.

We just switched to Candide. Our dog was having a lot of issues with Nutro, which she'd been on for years.

Blue buffalo, usually the salmon one. He likes it and it seems healthy for him. We do the fish one because he is prone to dry skin and flakes (princess dog:)

Acana Pacifica. My goodness it's expensive, but she eats so little and does well on it.
