We are looking into a backyard swingset for DS1 birthday. I like the wooden types and there are a variety on Amazon and some local companies. I want a company that will assemble for you! What swings do you have? Do you like it?

I would look into picking out the swing set that you want and then looking for a local handy man or company that will assemble for you.

We have a Gorilla set, but it didn't come with assembly service, lol. It took my husband and dad a half day to install, I was surprised how easily it all went together.
There is a company local to us that will do an install but only on their sets but very expensive (more than what I was comfortable spending).

@looch: My husband assisted a handyman with my MIL's swingset.....never again, ha! He spent 2 days of vacation doing it.
@T.H.O.U.: I've thought about this too. I just don't have a handyman that I know of. I've been looking in craigslits.

@winniebee: I think Toys R Us has an option that you can have someone come and build it.

@winniebee: home depot (or other big box store) sells them. I would bet they have an install service.

@winniebee: Some of Costco's playsets have the option of adding on installation.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but here are great wooden ones. They will do installation. (Not sure where you are located, but you can type in your zip and see if there is a showroom near you)

We just got a cedar summit brand one from Costco. It's still in boxes in my garage but my friend has the same one and loves it.
We got it on super sale and are having someone install it with the money we saved This guy was recommended by a friend. He used to do installs for creative playthings but started his own business installing all different brands.

Rainbow seem to be the most popular ones in our neighborhood, but I haven't really looked into them for our new house at all yet!

I saw one at BJs that included delivery and assembly. Also one at Home Depot, but forget brands.

We have a Cedar Summit play set from Costco. We've had it for 3 years, and it's still going strong. The install was a pain though. Took DH and FIL the whole weekend to complete.

We have a Swing-n-Slide set. I think it was originally from Home Depot and was my younger siblings' set restored by my parents for DS. They're handy, so it wasn't a big deal for them to install it either time, but I think it looks intimidating. I'd probably hire the store I purchased it from to install it, especially if it were a more elaborate set.
I think the Rainbow sets are supposed to be the be-all-end-all sets.

We have a Gorilla one bought from a local dealer. They have an employee do their deliveries and installations.
