Just for fun, what cloth diapers did you try and end up not liking very much? Why didn't you like them?

I'm not a fan of any prefolds/covers. I really wanted to want to use them with #2 but I just couldn't get into it. I love all of our AIO and pockets though so I'll hopefully start using them with DD soon.

@T.H.O.U.: I ordered a few of those, what didn't you like about them?

Our CD-ing never got off the ground partially because we ended up not liking the type of diaper I picked out. We had mostly fitteds and covers and we just couldn't get over the fact that the entire fitted diaper gets completely soaked.

I was not a Fuzzibunz fan either. We have a few of the one-size pocket diapers and I could never get the fit quite right.

I hated prefolds and fitteds for the same reason as @ShootingStar:. I love AIOs.

I didn't like fuzzibunz either. I had half fuzzibunz and half BG . The fuzzibunz leaked because I never could get them to fit right. It was annoying. I never had a problem with BG.

Fuzzibunz- weird snaps
BG freetimes- poor fit on my kids
Ones and Twos- leaky

It's changed as she's aged. Universally, I don't like fitteds/prefolds because the entire diaper gets soaked. My AppleCheeks covers tend to leak, but I think that it's more about her body type and buying the second size too early (truthfully, she could still probably wear size 1's right now at 16 months).

I am not a big fan of any BG products. They either didn't fit well, gave my kid rashes, or the elastic wore out very quickly.

I wanted to love the fuzzibunz so badly but they leaked. Even when he grew into them, I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I liked the BGs so much better.

@T.H.O.U.: Yes.
Seriously, screw Fuzzibunz. Leaky, ill-fitting, terrible snaps. Hated them.

Fuzzibunz one size I was not happy with. I loved the sized diapers but didn't invest in them. I also didn't have the love affair many people have with bumgenius. We went with grovia and that worked really well for us. I have a bunch of new diapers to try with the new baby.

Not a Charlie Banana fan. I like the fit but always leaks

I didn't like Fuzzibunz. The snaps are weird and they just didn't seem to fit right. Not a huge fan of microfiber, either.
I love my BG Elementals!

Even Charlie Bananas were a better fit than FB. Also they have a finished off pocket flap.
I liked my BG but probably fit the bulkiest (square shaped) of them all.
GroVia have the most hourglass shape.

Alvas. They were cheap. I liked them at first because I could put just 1 insert in them and they were trimmer on my LO when she was tiny than our free times. But they started showing a lot of wear really fast. Tons of pilling and fabric pulling off my my LO's bottom and stitching getting pulled out. I think if I had another LO I might like to get some pocket diapers for when they are tiny but not Alvas.

I love Bumgenius but I'm not a fan of the Elementals - my daughter would leak in the one we tried and they take forever to dry. Others love them though so I guess it just didn't work for my family.
I'm also not a Fuzzibunz fan (we tried XS for newborn and one size Elite). The XS were hard to stuff and we had tons of leaking due to absorbency. I wouldn't use pockets again for newborns. We have one one size Elite which is bulky (both when we started them at 2 months and now as a toddler) and I don't like the snaps.

I was not a fan of Charlie banana. Luckily I only had a few that I picked up on clearance but they leaked every time.

Charlie Banana leaked for me, until I changed the inserts to prefolds. Never leaked again.
