LO is 12 months and we do a swim class. it's a 6-week session. we hadn't done anything before that. after that we're going to try an arts/play class. for now, i think that one scheduled thing per week is enough for our schedule and budget, although i do appreciate having something structured where we can get out of the house on a regular basis!

We don't do set classes, but we go to a local city run playgroup that also offers free classes and a daily circle time. I'm thinking of checking out the Pottery Barn Kids story time as well.

We did swimming lessons awhile ago, we should sign up for them again.
We had looked into a local music class, but I found out about it too late and missed the registration deadline. But I am keeping it in mind for the future!
We don't have any weekly activities, but about once a month we take him to the children's museum.

I'm on mat leave right now for few more weeks and we've been doing one activity a day. This is our week:
Monday- swimming lessons
Tuesday- singing group at church for 30 mins followed by 30 mins of socializing/playing
Wednesday- movies (stars and strollers)
Thursday- neighborhood mommy group
Friday- books and babies at the library
I'm so sad to be going back to work in march. I love all our activities and have a feeling DH won't be doing these all when he's on paternity leave.

We've just moved but we were going to a music / play group on a Tuesday and another play group at the same venue on a Thursday and my antenatal class does a fortnightly catchup on Tuesday afternoons.
I found 2-3 different weekly activities to be a nice balance for us

We have a weekly play date on Mondays, where one of 8 of us hosts at their house...and Tuesdays I go to a BF support group, which has been great for meeting FTMs. Before Xmas I took LO to a music class, but she didn't have a clue what was going on and couldn't sit still for longer than 15mins, so we didn't go again.
I think I'll leave it until she's closer to a year before taking her to any more structured classes.
