I wear brown. I started wearing brown eyeliner in high school when someone told me it would make my eyes look bluer.

I usally wear a dark navy or plum for day, and jet black at night. I do like brown, but my (green) eyes really pop with navy and plum. Although I *puffyheartwithglitter* black, I find it just a tad too harsh (I am fair-skinned and blonde) for day-time wear-not that I haven't ever done it!

My best friend in college had almost-black dark brown hair, and she wore brown eyeliner because, as she said, her hair was technically brown and not black. I thought she was crazy; I have pale skin and medium-brown hair and I still love the look I get from black eyeliner. I tried gray once and hated it. I'm usually not going for subtle if I'm putting on liner.

I go back and forth between grey and black. Brown makes my eyes look ill for some reason...maybe I need to try dark brown.

As black as I can get it. I also use gel or liquid, never pencil.

I use liquid black! I have greenish/yellowish eyes and olive skin.
When I was in jr. High/high school I would use Sharpie as eyeliner! Ack! !
