What color front door with this color brick? I was wanting something other than black or white. I tend to like bolder colors but DH doesn't want anything "obnoxious"

@Mae: I like the idea of gray... I like colored doors but I don't want it to look ridiculous. The problem is that colors I like I'm not sure they would look right with the brick. For example, I love purple and could see like a deep plum but I don't know how that would look with the brick.

My neighbour has a deep plum door and a red brick house, and I love it! And the next house over (also against red brick) has a bold teal! I am planning on doing a seaglass-ish colour this year...talk about bold and annoying!
I might not tell my husband what colour I plan on doing before I just go for it! Lol!

Someone in subdivision has a lovely yellow-mustard-sunshiny color that looks awesome

I like the look of navy, but it's a little more classic than I was thinking. But definitely in the running.

@creativemomma15: I really like black doors with brick. I think it looks sharp and makes the colours in the brick really pop.
Second choice is a deep red door. We're getting a red door! I've always wanted one! -

A red-tangerine poppy color could also be a lot of fun.
