Ours is a faded matte red. When it gets warmer, I'm going to paint it a deep turquoise. I have the swatch up on my door and it makes me smile every time I see it.

Kind of a reddish-brown. I wanted a brighter red but we didn't want to paint it, so this was as close as we could get with a stain.
