We've used a co-sleeper that my husband built since our daughter was 5 weeks old. Before that, we bed shared. Now that she's nearing 6 months old, she can roll over, and will soon be crawling.

We aren't ready to transition her into a crib, but we also put her to bed before we're ready to sleep, and I don't want to worry about her crawling out of the bed/co-sleeper.

For co-sleeping families, what comes next? I'm okay with bed sharing, but I just don't understand the logistics of putting her to bed before we go in there, and how we keep her from falling. Hopefully it goes without saying, if a crib is the only thing we can use (which I doubt), we would use it in our room.

Please no judgement or negative opinions on co-sleeping.
