People act shocked when I tell them LO is 11 months and they ask me what I'm feeding her because she looks so HEALTHY! I'm starting to hate that term...I know people really mean big or fat!
What comment are you sick of hearing about your LO?

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: Haha I get that a lot, I'm like, she's dressed in ENTIRELY in pink, moron!

@HLK208: Her clothes are certainly girly. And if you can't tell, why assume he? It doesn't anger me, but baldish baby girls get no love!

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: When I was a baby my mom scotch taped bows to my head for that very reason. Lol.

LO is very serious in public and she studies everything.
so i always hear..
"She looks so angry," "She must be tired." "She's so serious."

Did she just wake up?
I think its a combo of her messy hair (no matter what I do to it she has bed head) and the big surprised eyes she gives to people when she first sees them. And she's shy so she'll also usually sick her thumb. But the answer is usually no, she's been up for awhile and it's not close to nap time so she's not tired. That's just how she looks.

Ugh my pet peeve is the constant assumption that he is teething. My LO has always been obsessed with putting everything in his mouth, since he got his first teeth at four months - two months later any time anyone sees him and he isn't perfectly happy, everyone seems to know exactly what is wrong having met him for 30 seconds - no new teeth in sight and yet, "oh, he must be teething!"

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: I hear ya... bald baby solidarity here!! I really like the babywisp clips, they are super cute and don't bug her at all.
I'm tired of hearing how tiny she is, yes she is slight an petite. Yes she eats plenty.

Ooh you're brave taking her out when she's so little! So should o keep my daughter cooped up in an apartment all winter long? Grrr.

@lovelife: I get the same comments! My LO is also very serious and observant.

how much he looks like DH. Just so irritating for so many reasons.
and "how old? - oh he's so big/little!" <--this one is slightly amusing because I get half and half. How bout we split the difference and call him normal-sized?
and "how cute!"

I get tired of hearing comments about LO's hair. Yes, he has a ton. And yes, it's bright red. And I'm blonde, and DH is brunette, so "Where did that red hair come from?" Now gets answered with "the mailman". Haha.

@Pink Champagne: my sister has two kids both with bright red hair. My sister has blonde hair and their dad has brown hair. Expect to never stop hearing where the red hair comes from! Lol
