LO is 9 months old and I think he may be ready to move into a convertible carseat. Tell me, which convertible carseat do you have and why do you like it? Are there ones I should avoid? Do you have one that you hate?! Why do you hate it?

Britax Boulevard because it has high safety ratings!

Recaro Pro Ride. It also has great safety ratings, I liked how it adjusted, and it fit my car better than the Britax Boulevard.

Evenflo Triumph 65 - love the knobs that adjust the straps vs. the strap that pulls from the font.

We haven't used ours yet, but it had great safety ratings and reviews, and the price is unbeatable.

Britax Boulevard 70 because of safety ratings and size. I wanted something I could rearface for a while. And then forward face for a while. The only other carseat I want to buy is a booster. Note, we have a Mazda 5 so a larger car. We also have a teeny tiny little boy who wasn't even big enough to forward face (20 lbs) until he was a year and a half. So we will be in a carseat forever.

Britax Marathon. Easy to install, he's comfy, no complaints!

Safety 1st air complete. Easy to use but takes up alot of space when it's rear facing!

Britax Marathon. LO is still in her infant seat but got the convertible as a Christmas present. We never take the infant seat out of the car anymore, so we may make the transition soon.

I'm about to purchase ours from Amazon right now. (DD is also 9 months.) We're getting the Britax Pavillion. It's almost exactly like the Boulevard, but it comes in the cow-spotted print, which was a priority for us... lol.

We have the Britax Advocate, but it's still in the box. DH will probably install it sometime this week. It was a bit pricey, but it was good reviews so hopefully it'll end up being worth it.

@crash806: same, it's pretty big and couldn't fit nicely in my sedan rear facing.
