We use jarred food for LO currently and when she is done with the glass jars or plastic containers I usually just throw them away. I feel like I could do something with them though, but not sure what. Any ideas?

My MIL uses them to store nails and screws in her shop.

Put a magnet strip under your high cabinets and magnets on the lids. Use them to store spices, or if you have a tool area, to store screws and whatnot. Putting beans in them and sealing them shut could make fun noise makers for kids to shake.

In girl scouts I remember making pin cushions out of them and putting a few mini spools of thread inside.

I put coconut oil in them so I can have a little bit in every room of the house

I actually bought one jar of baby food years ago, long before we were even considering TTC, emptied it out, and used it to take salad dressing to work with me. It's smaller than any tupperware I've ever seen, so it's perfect for that! Granted, that only uses one or two, but...it's something!

*confession* I am total jar hoarder! If P ate jar food DH would be so peeved with me, I already keep all the salsa jars, pickle jars, and soup jars. lol
You could store things in them like the others have already suggested, use them for parties making cake in a mini jar, or use them to put party favors in!
Here's one link I found with some ideas too!

I'm saving them to use for little vases for parties. Something like this:

Also saw this cute idea on Pinterest to make cocoa snowmen:

@Crumbs: If you use them for paint, be sure to make sure you wipe around the rim really well or else the paint acts as an adhesive and no amount of running it under water will open them! Also, make sure they're super super dry before putting paint in or the paint starts to turn because of the excess water.
Just FYI
I used some of Henry's jars - which I thought had dried sufficiently - to mix my own paint for my Halloween costume? And because I didn't know of the above, I nearly ran out of enough paint to make the right shade of brown for my tree. (I went as a five month pregnant fall tree - brown yoga pants from GoodWill with glittery bark painted on and felt grass sewn onto the bottom of the legs, and a shirt painted with round dots in different shades of red, green, yellow, and orange with brown branches painted on. My son was an owl. Since he wasn't walking yet, I would carry him on my hip and he was an owl in a tree.)

@MaisyMay: cool!
I was going to make a stuff case with them all lined up with no caps--mounted in a frame on the wall on their "side" (open part facing opposite the wall)

@prettylizy: Maybe when Halloween rolls around again
It'd be kinda weird to suddenly pop up on the boards with a Halloween photo three months late.

@NaturallyCathy: you could post it on this thread, we won't tell

@Bao: @prettylizy: I'll have to hunt for my old phone (which I suspect is hiding in my son's nursery and he's asleep) and download the picture that I have off of it then. It'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'm not sure my phone has a picture of Henry in his owl costume...
Fun fact, his owl costume was made by my mother and then she crochet him one of these owl hats to match color-wise. I was so smitten with the design on him, she made me a matching one. It's adorable when we both put our owl hats on
