DH and I did a lot of traveling prebabies. Once LO is a bit older, it would be nice to travel around Europe. Living wise, we've lived in Chicago, Bangkok, and now tokyo. DH's next transfer looks like Abu dhabi, but it's still not for sure. I'm not looking forward to moving, and if I could, I'd choose for us to stay here in tokyo.

We lived in Singapore for nearly 2 years. Our older LO was born there actually. We loved living in that region for the travel opportunities. We'd go to bali for a long weekend - how awesome that was! DH and I have talked about wanting to live in Europe as well.

One of my favorite shows is called, "No Going Back". It's about families that leave their city life behind to live in a foreign countryside. A few set-up B&Bs or some other kind of tourist attraction. The show's a documentary that follows the families from their going away party up until they do their repairs and have their first quests/visitors. It's so fascinating!

As for me, I always wanted to go to Tuscany. If we didn't already live in a small town, I would say I'd like to live there for a year. Now I prefer traveling over moving, ideally only once a year. DH had an offer to be temporarily relocated to France and I got all excited and forgot that I'm pregnant! That's not going to happen anytime soon, but the prospect is there but once LO is here and our routine is set, it'll be harder to move anywhere.

I think I've got the traveling bug out of me, but anywhere warm and sunny during the long Swedish winters would be ideal! I want to visit Keukenhof to see the tulips, but the earliest possible time would be in 2 years unless we don't visit my family back home (but it's close so we can do a weekend trip). There's Tuscany and Prague but anywhere close with a great deal would work. I'm more interested in shorter travel times right now then exotic. But if teleportation's available, I'd say: Fiji, Maldives, Boracay!

I would LOVE to live for a couple years in Germany or China. I'm Chinese and my husband is German/Irish so I love the idea of exposing our children to their heritage.
We were in Germany for a few days during our HM and absolutely loved everything about the country!

Cities I would love to see that have never been to SE Asia in general, Bamberg, Germany, Budapest, Hungary.

I don't think we want to live in any other countries (we did that already) but we still want to visit Japan and Australia especially.

@chopsuey119: me, too! they are so adorable. stay away from kangaroos though. i remember my high school teacher telling me he got attacked by one in australia. yikes!

We would love to either visit or move to Australia. Hubby is from there, and he misses it. I would love to see it too. I'd love to go to Spain to see my friends there. I played softball on a Spanish team there a decade ago, and still keep in touch with the friends I made while there.
