I was thinking about how I seem to usually ovulate on CD12 and how my friend's doctor told her that women ovulate on CD15 so that is when she should plan to BD. Good thing I didn't listen to that advice or I wouldn't have my DS! Obviously I know that isn't true that all women ovulate on CD 15 but I was curious to know if it was even true that MOST women ovulate then. I think CD 12 is probably on the early end?

Pre-DS, I had long cycles (~32-34 days) so I ovulated pretty late compared to ladies who have 28 day cycles.

I hear stories about ladies who's cycles changed post-baby (i.e. were shorter). Looks like yours didn't change. I'm interested to see how mine are once AF returns...

I had 3 cycles after BCP before I got a BFP; each cycle I ovulated later & later so it's hard to tell! The cycle I got my BFP I didn't ovulate till CD 24!

Pre IVF/IF treatments I ovulated on CD 16-18. After IVF I've been ovulating on CD 23-27. My lazy ovaries are just laying back, waiting for the drugs that they're not getting, haha.

before I had my son I ovulated on day 15 like clockwork. But nowadays it's usually between day 17 and 22. I'm hoping this is due to breast feeding. I have read however that as you age they can also change.

@travellingbee: Long cycles are great as long as you're not TTC (less periods - yay!), then it's too damn long. Since all you want to do is get the show on the road when the damn HPT comes back stark white.

Always CD17 or 18, usually 17 on the right, 18 on the left.
This is only true when I am having "normal" cycles, however - while I was still BFing my cycles, and O day, were all over the place.

Unmedicated I usually O around 21 or 22, but medicated it is more like 18-19. I have a short luteal phase though, so my cycles are still 28-29 days.

For the first 6 months of TTC I O'd on CD 17 or 18. The month I got pregnant I actually O'd CD 13 or 14.

LATE. Ugh. I normally ovulate on CD 30-35 and have 45-50ish day cycles. Hoping that maybe my postpartum cycles will be a bit more normal.

Post BCP and before my son it was all over the map but when I conceived him it was CD 15. After him I went back on the pill but only for a year and went I went off I ovulated on CD 17/18 before I got pregnant again. I always had a 12 day LP though.

It was day 14 (per the dating ultrasound) for both pregnancies. I temped for awhile, too, and it always fell on day 13 or 14. I'm fairly typical in that regard I guess.

Pre-baby, it was CD 19 with 30-31 day cycles. Post-baby, it's CD 14-15 with 28 day cycles.
