I did 4 clomid cycles, 3 on cd5-9 and last one on cd3-7. first cycle at 50mg - no ovulation, 2 at 100mg - no ov., 3 at 150mg plus trigger shot - bfn, and the last on 3-7 at 150mg with trigger - bfn. I ended up needing injectables plus trigger and also reacted badly to the clomid, tho I have heard good things from others it just wasn't for me. also did a femara cycle which didn't gave as bad side effects. good luck to you!

I took 50 mg CD 5-9. I did ovulate, but didn't get a BFP. One round thinned out my lining way too much, so I didn't take it again after that.

@CupQuakeWalk: I did 100mg days 3-7 and got a bfp. It was my third on clomid though, the first 2 cycles being on 50 mg on the same days. I don't think I O'd those cycles.

Oh and I should mention that I O'd late like CD 23 even with the clomid.

@cupquakewalk: hopefully I'll be like @mrs.panda: and get a BFP with this round of clomid!

I've always done 3-7 and I always ovulated, around CD16-18 without trigger, on 50mg or 100mg. I've had 4 BFPs but 3 of those were chemical.

this cycle and the last I had two follicles. waiting to see if this one turned out.

I can't remember if I did 3-8 or 5-10. *But* I do remember that the theory on the different days is that if you take it earlier it helps encourage more follicles, if you take it later, it's more likely to develop one stronger follicle.

Have you been monitored on Clomid yet? If yes, how have your follicles been responding?

Been on clomid twice, 100 mg days 5-9 and got BFP both times.
