Looks like I’m having a chemical pregnancy, level was only 45 at 16 dpo and I had pretty strong positive pregnancy tests starting at 12 dpo.
I have repeat betas tomorrow, and I expect the number to drop since my test line was lighter today.
Because it’s so early I am hoping to ttc again right away. Does anyone know if the re will let me do clomid again right away?

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.
I did but I know some docs will tell you to wait a cycle (no reason to wait to try but maybe for meds? I was unmonitored and just kind of went for it). For my first I did 4 clomid cycles in a row which gave me cp, bfn, cp, baby

@bhbee: Yes, that might play into it, I was monitored so I was cleared of cysts and such before I started again each time

I was about to start a clomid/iui cycle a couple years ago after a loss (though it was a d&c at 10 weeks) and my RE wouldn’t let me start any treatment until my hcg level came back at zero. I ended up getting pregnant with my daughter naturally that month, though. Hope you get good news at your beta tomorrow!

Ok, finally got a call back and my number went down to 41. When I spoke with the nurse she said that they like to wait a cycle in between, but my doctor emailed me and she sounded like we might try again sooner? She’s going to call me tomorrow and I’ll ask her to clarify.

Good news! My levels were back to normal so my doctor said we can do clomid right away.

@LAZB: that's great news! Fingers crossed you get the heightened fertility (may as well get some good out of the bad)

@Sams Mom: I hope so! I was thinking about asking doc for a higher dosage (I took 100 mg when I got pregnant with my daughter), but I was afraid that I might get too many follicles since you are *supposedly* extra fertile
