As we're coming out of the newborn fog, DH and I've joked about how we have NO idea what we used to do with all the free time and extra hours of sleep we used to get before LO! 
It's amazing how much we can still do the same, even with all of LO's needs/wants, and on very much less sleep than before!

I'm still in the first week so I have the luxury of time with no work, but I'm still surprised that I'm okay with the little sleep I've been getting! I told a friend that its like reverting back to college days when you just stayed up all night and still somehow made it to 8 am class. You just make it work!

DH and I talk about this all the time now too. How did I not make time for the gym before, I thought I was soooo busy.... PFFT!!! It's true how adaptable we become is amazing. We always just make it work.

My LO is almost 5 months old. Still can't get a lot done these days since he's not a great napper or sleeper. I miss the first weeks of his all day sleeping.

We were actually pretty bored before LO came along...I really miss the sleep though! I haven't slept through the night in almost 5 months.

We used to watch more TV, the house was cleaner, and the laundry wasn't usually so piled.

we used to watch more tv, we went to the movies/out to dinner, and we definitely worked way more.
