I really didn't want to cut my hair but I think I have to. I already have fine/thin hair so now it just looks really sad. I'm hoping cutting it will give it some new life...
Did you cut your hair during pp hair loss? Style it different?

@snowjewelz: I wore it pulled back for months! I didn't want to cut it!

@Mamaof2: I know! My hair is just up every single day. It just looks so sad and lifeless!

I kept mine the same. I didn't really get the crazy thick pregnancy hair and dint lose much with either pregnancy.

I cut it. I have pretty thick hair so it was clogging the drain every time I showered.

I had to cut thicker bangs. I lost all my hair around my hairline.
I'm not looking forward to that again.

I wanted to keep mine long, but with the hot AZ summers coming, I decided to cut mine about 3 months pp.

I didn't have too much hair loss, but my hair has so badly lost its curl since being pg. I have had to get a completely different haircut - now I am adding volume instead of trying to tame it! I hope it comes back one day, I miss the big hair!

Mine was awful- I basically had a receding hairline for ages, then those horrible little new growth baby hairs. I cut it, shaped it, and wore it with a side part to help cover all that nonsense up. I lost SO much hair.

I chopped my hair off but I regretted it. I'm due with #2 in a few weeks. I just got a preventative haircut so hopefully I won't be so tempted to do a big chop.

@avivoca: Sigh yes, I spend an extra 10 min in the shower just cleaning it all up. I dread washing my hair!
@Rainbow Sprinkles: Man I really need to get DH to inspect my head to see if there are bald spots lol!
@Bubbles: That is so weird! I know hair loss is normal but didn't know that texture can completely change too!
@Rocker2014: Hahaha
@Corduroy: That's a good idea... I've never had short(er) hair so I'm afraid I'll regret it too, but I def need to do something b/c the hair that I have is just sad!

@Mrs. Oatmeal: I don't even know I have that much hair to loose and how I'm not going bald!

It's not fair. I've always had fine hair and was loving having thick locks for the first time in my life. I noticed when I blow dried my hair this morning that I've started to shed. I'm most likely going to have a good pout and then get a haircut and highlights to try to make myself feel a little better.

@Happygal: I think I was in denial when it first started, and kept thinking oh it won't be that bad or I won't shed for that long... 6 mo pp... Still shedding (though not as heavy as the beginning, but possibly b/c there's really no more hair to shed!)

I don't have a response, as I've never had to deal with that, but I just need to say that when I first read this thread title, I thought you were asking what you do with the actual hair that has fallen out, and I was very confused.

@Torchwood: Hahaha! That is a legit topic as I have to vacuum daily to get rid of my hair everywhere!
