I donated it to a breast cancer charity!

I got mine preserved about a year later (as a Christmas gift from my ILs, I think?). It was an online site-- so they sent you a box, you shipped the dress out, and it was returned a few weeks later, cleaned and preserved,

It's in the guestroom closet in the bag it came in. Still dirty.

I sold it!

It's in it's bag at my FIL. I should sell it but I'm not ready to yet.

Mine's dirty in the closet. Now that I have a little girl, I really want to get around to preserving it just in case. She can do whatever she wants, but I would have loved to wear my mom's if it hadn't yellowed so much. It fit perfectly!

@FutureMrsMcK: maybe your dil will want to use it. My sil used part of my moms dress in their chuppah. You never know!

I preserved mine. Its short and not traditional at all but has beautiful lace so hopefully lo will want the lace for something.

Mines still shoved in the same garment bag that I put it in on my wedding night. I can only imagine what it looks like now, after a year and a half.

I actually decided to save it for kind of a weird reason. I saw on pinterest where a group of friends did a photo shoot in their wedding dresses after the last friend got married. Well, our "last friend" is tyng the knot next February so I'm hoping we can make that happen. After that, I'll probably donate it. I doubt it will still be in style 20something years from now when my hypothetical daughter gets married.

sold it!! it was an awesome jcrew wedding gown that had just come out that season, and i sold it the next year, while it was still desirable. it was kind of hard though, i loved it so much! but didn't expect to wear it again, and besides, i'm sure it would be hidious by the time any of my LO's were old enough to wear it

if i didn't need the money at the time, maybe i would've kept it, thpough!!

Still dirty and hanging in the closet in my old bedroom at my parents' house. It's in good company, hanging next to my sister's dirty wedding dress

I'm sure if I have a daughter, she won't want to wear it, but I still can't bear to part with it. I'd be fine if she and her friends just played dress up in it.

Mine is also dirty and hanging in the closet. Not sure what I'll do with it. I kind of wish I could wear it again. Assuming it would fit, of course.

Mine is totally dirty and hanging in the closet! We went to a pub for our reception and I have been scared to look at the bottom of that dress since I wore it.

Mine is still dirty and hanging off our loft bed! Hopefully I'll get my act together and get it cleaned and boxed up before our son gets here in May.

It's in a cedar chest at my mom's house. I always toyed with the idea of making Mr. Chalk get all dressed up and doing photos, but I doubt we'll ever do it at this point.

i've worn it out once since the wedding to a nice dinner. it's knee-length, but not a real wedding dress. just a fancy cocktail dress in ivory. i might get it professionally dyed at some point so i can wear it some more.

Mine is uncleaned and hanging in my closet still. I have a daughter so I hope someday she could use a part of it in her wedding. I got a couple offers from Weddingbee inquiring if I would sell it but I just can't part with it!

Sold it! No regrets here. I have pictures for the memories and more space in my closet

Mines hanging unwashed in a garment bag in the guest room closet. One of my facebook friends whips out hers every year on her anniversary and has a dress up dance party with her young daughters. It looks like a blast! Her husband is military and isn't always home for anniversaries so it seems like a good way to celebrate without getting bummed that he cant be there.

Mine is still dirty and in the garment bag it came in. I can't imagine how dirty it is considering they didn't hem it up high enough! I want to get rid of it to make more room but I'm to sentimental and some day I'd like to be able to for into it again. I was my smallest when I married DH so it would be a major accomplishment.
