I have a dress for DD.
DS doesn't have any dress clothes yet.
Our friend requested that we bring the kids to his wedding, so we'll be attending as a family of 4!

I got my son a little suit on clearance at Sears when we went to my best friend's wedding.

for a fancy wedding in napa when he was 4 months old, we dressed him in khakis (already owned), a white dress shirt onsie (from gap) and a blue/white seersucker patterned vest (clearance 2$ at children's place!). i also made him a tiny salmon coloured bowtie on an elastic to go with it! (lots of easy diy tutorials online!)
for a slightly more casual wedding we went to when he was 5 months old, he wore the same pants and vest, but we just put a white onsie underneath. it was lots more comfortable and almost just as cute!
i guess all to say, vests are cute, comfy, and versatile have fun at the wedding!!

he didn't wear shoes. i thought that was overkill and i didn't want to buy any! actually.. come to think of it, he's 10 months old now and has never worn a pair of shoes yet. haha...

My nephew wore light-colored pants and a coordinating dressy vest over a white, short-sleeved dress shirt for our summer wedding. He looked very handsome.

yay! The wedding we just went to requested kids as well. So fun!
As young as he is, I'd suggest khakis, a button-down (or a long sleeved polo) and a sweater vest! Comfy and cute. Oh and a dressy hat goes a long way in making babies look formal
I have a tiny little janie and jack bowtie I can send you if you come up with an outfit that matches it! it's navy, green, and white plaid

They still have them in stores. Instead of the onesie that came with it, he wore a navy blue striped one.

I have an evening hotel wedding to go to soon, and I bought DS a vest and pant set in a suiting material. I was going to go with a more casual vest and dark khakis, but since it's my brother's wedding, we'll be taking lots of pictures, and I just don't want him to stick out as being too casual. I will try and jazz it up with a bow tie. Argh! I can't stand spending $ on stuff he's only going to wear once!

DS was 6 months old at my brother's wedding. It was a casual park wedding with the reception at their favorite dive bar. I put DS in linen pants, a button down, tie and loafers.

Thanks for all the ideas! Got him a white onesie dress shirt from babygap, a pair of pants from nords and ordered a red bowtie from etsy! Wanted to have him wear a vest, but couldn't find one I liked, plus my babies run hot so didnt wanna make him suffer
Will post pics of the kiddies on IG next Sunday!

@chopsuey119: haha, your ds (and dd) are going to be super cute in their fancy clothes! yeah last minute shopping always ends up pricier -- we spent more on that gap white dress shirt onesie than i wanted to... oh well!
have fun at the wedding!
