was there anything you discovered for #2 that you didn't have/use with #1?

For us, a video monitor. We didn't see a need for one with Chloe, but now we wish we'd have had one.
Baby isn't even here but in my head that makes sense...

Rock n Play and Snuggabunny swing... man, I think those things would've made my 1st time mom life a lot easier!

I will need something for baby wearing - probably a Tula or Ergo. I won't have the luxury of sitting on the couch and holding this LO all day like I could with DS.
also, a double stroller!

Almost nothing. I got a soft wrap so I could juggle both kids...money WELL spent. Double stroller. I think that is is!

I have all except a double stroller and a soft wrap! but I do have an ergo and infant insert which I loooved with DD.

An Ergo! Yes it's a need or else going with them solo anywhere would be scary. Also the basic things like a crib, dresser, rocker etc.

Only a week into it but definitely a double stroller and some more gear to put the baby down (like bouncy seat or bassinet) so i can take care of DS1. A soft wrap would also work and we've been planning to try it. Some clothes too because they were born in opposite seasons.

Clothing (#1 was girl, #2 was boy) otherwise we didn't buy any new gear.

Nothing big...just summery clothes. She hated the RNP!

I bought newborn - 6 month clothes for the baby since my boys were born in different seasons. I also needed another foscam. I didn't have one from the start with DS1 and wish we had it in the beginning. The Ergo is a lifesaver with two kids.
also, a double stroller!
