I'm planning my LO's baptism party for next month. What was on your menu?

We had brunch at a restaurant. It was a small, family-only baptism. Brunch food would work really well for most post-baptism parties, I would think. Things like quiches and fruit salad could be made ahead.

We are having ours next Sunday. We have just close family coming to lunch after, and that is like 40 adults and 12 kids. So ordered pulled pork and chicken, Mac n cheese, and greens beans from a local bque place. I think I am going to make baked beans as well. Then we have a plain cake( my grandma makes for all family get togethers), cookie cake, and brownies for dessert. Then we will have beer, sodas, water, and tea for drinks.

We are planning a party at my parent's house. We will have it catered but it will be small finger sandwiches, salads, crudite, lots of normal not-very-creative party food.

We had J baptized at the church by my parents' beach house, so we had a big cookout at the house. Potato and pasta salads, cold cuts and chicken salad finger sandwiches inside, cookout and clambake outside. It was a lot of fun!

We served tortilla roll ups, croissant sandwiches, mini quiches and spanokopita.

We did brunch at home. We had a bunch of stuff ready the ngiht before and threw a casserole in the oven before church. We kept it in the oven (with the oven off) for the hour we were at church and it was ready when we got hoem.
